The location is great. There is very little traffic so it is relatively quiet for a location in the town center. Within easy walking distance from the railway station, the central square, the vast number of great restaurants and bars and the shopping areas. Breakfast came on a huge tray rather than as a buffet. A great selection of scrambled eggs, croissants, juices and coffee. My room was of a decent size, had doors that opened onto a small balcony, which was great. Staff were invariably and infectiously cheerful. No mean feat to make me smile before breakfast... even after a night in a most comfortable bed.

} We had an amazing stay! Everything was beautiful, clean, and very well organized. The atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing and romantic experience. What really made the difference was the staff — especially the two ladies we met. They were incredibly kind, welcoming, and made us feel completely comfortable from the first moment. Their friendliness and professionalism truly stood out. Thank you for such a lovely experience. We will definitely come back and highly recommend this hotel

“Lovely hotel in a wonderful town”

Wonderful location, fantastic beds and really interesting quirky rooms - building used to be a bank. The bar/restaurant downstairs had an excellent vibe. Free lollypops and a record player in every room.

I stayed here for two nights to celebrate my birthday, and overall the atmosphere is very pleasant. The design is beautiful, the hotel feels clean and well maintained, and the room looked neat and cosy. I also want to highlight the staff — especially the receptionist at midnight who genuinely tried to help with the temperature issue, called colleagues, and even brought a heater. That level of care was truly appreciated.

Excellent location - 5 minutes walk from the train station and 5 minutes to the town centre. Very pleasant staff. A small but adequate room with good wi-fi and shower. Nice restaurant/bar downstairs for breakfast or light meals and drinks throughout the day and evening. "Wine Hour" with half price bottles of wine 8-9pm.
