“Couldn't have been better.”
The location is incredible. At the top of a hill, in the middle of nowhere, overlooking the Soca valley. A pure retreat. All you can hear are the birds singing and the wind in the trees. Hiking and biking trails in front of the door. The owner was a lovely lady and she cooked me breakfast and dinner when I wanted it. And she can cook. The locals come from all around to visit her restaurant. Proper authentic, simple, local cuisine. Exactly what I needed. To get away from everything for a couple of days. No internet, no frills. Just simple, basic, and local.

It’s a secluded place on the top of a mountain and the view is amazing. The host Daniela made for us a tasty dinner and a rich breakfast. The kids loved to play with the house cats. We made a couple of lovely walks with the view at Alps and the sea. The ‘hiška’ is simple, however the beds are very comfortable and in the house nearby you can use a clean equipped kitchen and a bathroom. Or Daniela can cook for you in the restaurant.
