There is quite a difference between the different properties, and some, like the one we stayed at varies considerably from what is promoted on booking and social media. Be careful what you’re choosing. The walls are extremely thin, so we heard our neighbours a lot. The bungalow itself needs a considerable refresh, particularly the bathroom which was poorly maintained.

Au Jardin Des Colibris Ecolodge & Spa is an absolutely fantastic place to stay in Guadeloupe. It’s set in a large, lush tropical garden that feels like a botanical garden, and it’s actually right next to the Jardin Botanique de Deshaies. We enjoyed every moment of our stay and would definitely love to return. Special thanks to the staff, who were genuinely friendly and helpful throughout.

Great location with beautiful nature. Beautifully furnished, clean cottage. Very good location to wonderful beaches nearby. At the same time, excursions into the rainforest are not too far away.

“Magical place, beautifully kept gardens. would go back in a heartbeat”
We had a truly fabulous stay in this little piece of paradise. I would thoroughly recommend Casa Ananas for 2 adults + 1 child. Very stylish, well equipped and smart design. Extremely helpful team.

“A hidden gem with incredibly kind staff”
Hidden gem in a beautiful and quiet, rainforest like setting. Deshaies and some nice beaches are just a few minutes of driving away. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful and they speak English. We booked the Secret Lodge which was well-equipped (even for a longer stay) and had a terrace with amazing views over Deshaies bay. I would definitely come back here in the future.

“Great place in the tropical forest”
The tropical forest and the birds around the place are really beautiful. The staff were very helpful with tips, arranging even covid tests on the spot for our return, always with a smile. It was clean and confortable.
