“Great guesthouse and horrible customer service.”
The door didn’t automatically lock and customer service never helped or responded despite my texts and calls. We had to hide our valuables when we left the guesthouse to feel safe. When we checked out, we forgot to retrieve one of the valuables and we called to see if we could go back before someone else check in and customer service was unsympathetic, said it wasn’t their responsibility, and said that the cleaning service would report any lost item. We are positive we left a valuable in a specific location, but “nothing was reported or found”, and they are not helping us any further. The guesthouse was great, but the automatic door lock was broken, customer service has been disrespectful, uncommunicative, and the stay ended up costing us much more than it was worth. We are still trying to retrieve our item but no one has helped us. This has certainly not been “effortless”.
