Overview
Set in a classic farm mansion looking out over the Wadden Sea, Villa Nieuwland is set in the very tip of Noord-Holland. It offers spacious accommodation with a small kitchenette, a flat-screen TV and modern bathrooms. Guests can charge their electric car on site. All 3 rooms are decorated in warm colors and classic lighting, they have box-spring beds and a bath tub in the bathroom. Guests can make use of the kitchenette with a tea/coffee maker and a refrigerator. Every morning Villa Nieuwland serves an extensive breakfast which is always served in the central breakfast room in the form of a buffet. To explore the area, guests can make use of the bicycle rental service, Den Oever's cosy centre village is just 1.5 km away. The Afsluitdijk is 2 km from the Villa.

“Wonderful! Definitely recommended!”
The place was very clean, the breakfast very generous and the view to the sea was wonderful! The hostess was very friendly and communicated with us to ensure we have everything we need. The parking area was just next to the B&B and the area was very quiet and safe. Behind the B&B, there's a small path that takes you directly to the sea where you can take a walk along the coast.

“Beautiful place, but poorly accessible room”
The location exactly matched our ideas and requirements, a quiet and peaceful place overlooking the sea. We enjoyed the breakfast in the first days of our stay (but after a few days you find that it is unfortunately still the same). The WiFi worked without problems and we could safely store our bikes in the adjacent storage room. Communication with the pleasant owner was also without any problems.

The room was very spacious, light, airy and finished to a very high standard. The owners were very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. The location was wonderfully peaceful and just a short walk from the property we were able to watch wading birds feeding as the tide went out.

“Wonderful sea-view Hotel”
Very quiet, beautiful and natural area. Hotel is just 5min walk from the sea and from the top room you have a wonderful view on it. We always enjoy to sit by the slanted window and watch the sunset. It is also wonderful for trips by bicicle and romantic walks along the coast.

The room is very warm and spacious. The shower is great. Breakfast is good. I really liked the fresh fruits each morning. The area is peaceful. Communication with the host was great!

To be in an historic building where the old directors of Rijkswaterstaat were living as 'privileged kings' when supervising the Afsluitdijk works. The idea that the government specially build these high-quality home offices seems today a bit surprising, but makes sense when you consider the Afsluitdijk in that 1930's period as a global showcase of advanced civil engineering. Is that why the house, rooms and owners give you this royal feeling too?

A nice clean and comfortable room looking across at the church - a picture postcard view. Lovely. Really nice room in a lovely home. Very very quiet and no church bells as clock not working.
