We loved our time at B&B TxL. The host was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast basket was delicious and generous - we packed up the extra food for lunch which was perfect for our day of biking. The suite was very clean and well maintained, and it had everything we needed. Would love to be back one day!

Lisa and Tjalle are very warm and hospitable. The place is clean and private. I’d read about the breaksfast in previous reviews and I have to say it lives up to its hype; delicious nutritious well put together. We enjoyed our stay.

“Best place I've ever stayed at”

It was the best place I have ever stayed at. Everything was carefully thought through—a nice shower with good pressure, comfy beds with automatic lighting under them, a fully equipped kitchen, and recycling bins. The host, Lisa, was amazing. Firstly, she saved us from the road because getting around on the island is a bit tricky; you need to book the bus beforehand, and it is better to do it by calling; they ignored our online reservation. Then she prepared an amazing breakfast for us and managed to make a vegan version sooo good, I do not eat like that at home. She was very warm and friendly and proud of her property (absolutely deserved) The town itself is small and quiet and so romantic with the deserted (in October) beach right next to the house, with its incredible sunsets and sunrises. B&B absolutely matches the surroundings by its majesty.

Excellent location, excellent breakfast

What a wonderful stay: a cozy studio with everything you need (including the cat for cuddling in the garden). Lisa and her family were delightful hosts, and Texel is always breathtakingly beautiful. Alla prossima :)

“A beautiful place to stay in an attractive village”

A lovely studio apartment in a very attractive village. The bed was super comfy and there was loads of space. The bathroom was at the bottom of the stairs leading up to the main room but still within the self contained apartment. There are no cooking facilities but the fridge is full size and there is a full set of plates, cutlery , dishwasher etc and an excellent supermarket within 10 minutes walk. The host is lovely and provided a very beautifully presented breakfast (room service!) everyday.

“Fantastic Place to Stay”

We had an incredible stay here. The hostess, Lisa, was wonderful. She answered all my questions before we arrived and met us with the keys. She prepared what I think were the best breakfast baskets we've ever had during stays with Booking.com. The food was healthy, delicious and plentiful. These breakfasts were a highlight of our stay. The apartment itself is large and very comfortable. The location was perfect and parking was available right in front of the property. The apartment is in an historic building that I believe was built in the early or mid-1800s. It has large windows that look out onto the garden in the front, and even though it is located on the main street, the village of De Cocksdorp is small and very quiet during day and night. The shower was great, as was the bed: we slept comfortably at night. Thank you, Lisa!

“Thanks for an unforgetable holiday!”

It was the second time I've stayed with these lovely people. So I have written a review last year already. Lisa, Tjalle, Stella and Mira and not to forget Pieps the cat always make me feel so welcome. And the lovely basket of breakfast waiting for me every morning after coming back from photographing the sunrise on the beach, is just yummy! The room has an own entrance, which is nice, because you don't have feeling of intruding into someone else's home. I had 9 wonderful days! Hope to be back again next year!
