“Ideal couples' getaway just a short drive from Melbourne”

My partner and I were celebrating my 30th birthday and wanted to keep things low-key but still head out of town, and this fit the bill for an ideal couples' getaway. We didn't even end up making use of the full extent of the property's facilities over the two nights that we stayed, but the spaciousness felt like a real luxury, especially the glorious garden. It was important to us that we had a fully functioning kitchen, as we didn't want to eat out for every meal, and it had everything we needed. Must make mention of the spa bath, of course, which (other than the kitchen) was the main drawcard, and is truly enormous, and opens out into the living room, allowing for convenient telly-watching, which itself was fully set up for casting directly from our own devices. Location was also fantastic; being able to stroll down to the lake, across into town for dinner at Bar Merenda, or even drive around the region for sightseeing – while still feeling peaceful and secluded – was delightful. We did not meet David and Deirdre in person, but their communication was excellent, and they were very kind to forgive us misremembering the check-out time.

David was so friendly and welcoming with great suggestions on things to do in the beautiful town of daylesford. The space is incredible with such a gorgeous open garden to enjoy that has a magical feel to it. The Jacuzzi bath really made it for us. We'll definitely stay again when visiting our friend in the area.

Azidene House was wonderful in every way. Comfortable, clean, great amenities and beautiful garden setting in a peaceful and quiet location.

Terrific unit very close to town Centre and lake. Unit had all the facilities plus some bonuses. Bedroom was at far end of unit to kitchen - so no waking partner when making and early cuppa. Spa was a bonus.

Very neat and comfortable apartment! The view of the garden and of course the spa bath! Will definitely come back for a longer stay next time! So conveniently close to the town.

Our stay of 2 nights was on the spur of the moment. Such a cosy apartment. Within walking distance to shops. The spa was devine. Breakfast of coffee. Tea. Milk. Crumpets and honey and butter and jam weres great. Was easy to access to the internet and casting to tv. Thanks, David and Dedrie. We will recommend you to our village. We will return. ST.

Breakfast items, tea, coffee & milk supplied. Location was perfect and a very short, easy walk to the main street & supermarket. Very clean & thought out accommodation. The gas log fire place was a great feature & the garden was beautiful.

We absolutely loved it !! A comfy cozy retreat, The Spa Bath is Amazing, Sitting out in the most prettiest garden what an absolutely Beautiful Place to stay!! In the heart of Daylesford and a quick drive to Hepburn !! Everything we needed, I highly recommend staying here if your coming to relax and unwind !!.. What a location !!!
