Overview
Featuring a restaurant and lounge, this Dawson City hotel is located in the center of town and within walking distance to many attractions and shops. It was easy to find and the guy booking us in was great, came to our room to check the air conditioner was ok (the compressor makes a loud noise) and worked out how to get the coffee machine working) and said he had more coffee etc at the desk. We asked about dinner (see below) and breakfast. Re breakfast we followed his suggestion and ate El Dorado, which was good, again plenty of places to eat at. The room was smallish but had everything there.

“Staff and location were good, but the extremely high room temperature ruined our stay.”
The location is great in downtown Dawson City. Close to everything. Our limited interactions with staff were fine - they were polite and efficient.

“Excellent location and comfortable place to stay”
There are two buildings for this property - one is the old hotel and the other, an annex across the road. We were in the annex. It was quiet and the beds were comfortable. Had a small fridge and ice machine in the foyer. It is in the centre of town, although it is a small town.

“Good”
The room was comftorable and equipped with a small microwave and small fridge. Laundry services on site. Central to Dawson and close to all amenities. The restaurant at the sister Hotel Eldorado offered a good menu - one of the only places still open this time of year. We had to stay in Dawson an extra night due to an issue with our rental vehicle and the motel was able to accommodate this and was very flexible on timing. Thank you.

Good room. OK bed. Pleasant and helpful staff. Centrally located in Dawson City. We lived in the annex, saloon in the main building.
