Beautifully decorated, from the moment you step in. The rooms were comfortable and clean, and the location was perfect to start a number of lovely walks/hikes. Julien and Fred were welcoming and friendly hosts and any questions they were quick to respond with personal recommendations. The shop is a lovely little addition with its pre-made gourmet meals. We cooked in the kitchen and decided not to go out for dinner so we could enjoy our evenings in front of the fireplace. What a magical place. I look forward to staying again! <3

“A gem in the Ardennes”

What a wonderful discovery! We stayed two nights there with friends and make no mistake, this beautiful hotel has no peers for quite a distance. You drive into to this quaint little village and here stands this wonderfully restored house made of local stone and very tasteful fittings. In front of you the terrace, with a stone brick backdrop and beautiful flower arrangement, tables and chairs. To the left the local produce shop, to the right a discrete entrance into the guests common sitting room. You are instantly aware that this is somewhere very special. On entering, the attention to detail is simply phenomenal, you are wowed by the modern classic meets British country manor setup. Spotlessly clean with tasteful decorations, you instantly know you have chosen the right place. Frederic the co-owner welcomed us and you quickly realise that he takes great pride in this project, and understandably so, I should add. A very welcoming man with great local knowledge. He showed us to our rooms, each of which with a different look but always following the same theme, country manor luxury. Very comfortable beds, great bathroom fixtures & fittings and again just the right decorations to enhance the wow factor. Frederic took his time to show us around, explain how everything works and we ended up talking about nothing and everything in the kitchen area. The process here is pretty straightforward, the guests from the four rooms can cook for themselves in the evenings, food they have brought along or buy and heat up some of the wonderful local cooked recipes from the store. Prices are reasonable and you can also purchase desserts and of course choose from a variety of wines and local beers. Weather dependent you have the choice of eating in the dining area or on the terrace. Breakfast is just right. Frederic has everything set up and will offer you coffee or tea when you turn up at your chosen time.

Frederic & Julien were exceptionally nice hosts, the house has a very nice and cozy interior design and overall I had a very pleasant stay. The breakfast is nice, with fresh bread and local products. Scrambled eggs are made by Frederic himself and you sit with the other guests at one large table. Very nice.

Beautiful location, quirky and gorgeously furnished, full of character and immaculately clean. Genuinely lovely hosts and really nice breakfast. The shop was fabulous and the whole place is filled with interesting things. We will definitely be back as the perfect stopover on our road trips or maybe even spend a few days and enjoy the gorgeous surroundings.

“A hidden gem in scenic countryside”

We loved the two nights we spent at this adorable B&B! The gracious hosts are there when you need them but they don't impose. The communal spaces are a delight, as are the cosy art-filled rooms. We made use of the meals in the shop which is filled with local products, and prepared the delicious food in the kitchen. You just help yourself to anything you might want and write it down on a notepad. Breakfast is lovingly presented and very tasty. The whole atmosphere is so relaxed, a great place to rest up after long country walks.

- The location is perfect to start all sorts of walks. - Julien was super welcoming (the constant-friendly-smile type of person). We didn’t see Frederic. - The decor of the house is magazine worthy. - The little shop is super handy and has all sorts on offer which makes it handy to eat there. But ask Julien for restaurant tips: he has plenty as well.

We absolutely loved everything about this B&B!!! Both Frederic and Julien are such welcoming hosts (to people AND for dogs) and the place is just beautiful and designed in a very tasteful and fun way. In every corner you’ll find something to look at. We stayed with my parents-in-law to celebrate my husband’s 40th birthday. It was the perfect little getaway. The already very indulgent breakfast table filled with local products, was topped with a homemade browniecake for my husband’s birthday :) The rooms in the B&B are also very nicely designed, clean and roomy. The whole place makes you feel very comfortable and at home. The honesty kitchen and bar adds to that feeling. I could go on for a very long time about everything I loved here, but I suggest you go and find out yourself. You won’t be disappointed!

Great place for a retreat in countryside! We enjoyed our evening drinks in the garden with the "wild life" spotting - you can expect bats, owls and all sorts of other birds.

“Exceptional stay in Ardennes”

Located in a beautiful village, this b&b is a true gem. Friendly owners were able to accommodate late arrival at a short notice. The building is a beautifully restored old house with a number of historic features. It has a fantastically equipped kitchen, a lovely lounge and an outside area where you can enjoy dinner / drinks. There is an onsite shop with local products, which was offering an impressive range of things from the region. The rooms were clean, spacious and tastefully decorated, with a separate work area, plenty of storage an a step-in shower. The beds were amazing, we slept like children. The breakfast was definitely a highlight of our stay, fresh, varied, personal and attentive service and absolutely amazing array of locally sourced products. Finally, the owners are absolutely friendly, attentive and can offer a good advice for where to go for a hike. We definitely recommend this property for anyone who would like to enjoy a high quality stay in Ardennes.

Great and friendly hosts. This is what we liked most in this B&B: + garden and terrace + kitchen can be used for private cooking and food storage + ideal starting point for hiking tours + the atmosphere: other guests also look for peace and quiet. No loud people or large groups.

We had a warm welcome at this beautiful B&B! The interior is impeccable and beautifully restored with a keen eye for detail and lots of warmth. The rooms were luxurious and well kept. We couldn't wish more for our breakfast, our host made it with care. On top of that we had a lovely conversation with him, it really made our stay that more personal!

The house is amazing, decorated with passion and attention to all details. With small shop with local specialities (food) and art, great terrace to spend time outside. It has also great energy - you just feel there like at home, together with your friends and all you want is to stay on sofa and rest! Great location to visit surrounding villages. And dogs are allowed😍

Magical! Only every once in a while you come across a place where everything is just perfect. Beautiful interior, warm welcome by the lovely owners, great garden, cozy rooms with good beds and pillows, different places in the house to lounge and relax, drinks available at a fair price, good coffee(!), a fully equipped kitchen to use, everything is super clean, nice breakfast, souvenirs to shop, private parking next to the house, and the owners love dogs - they made ours feel really welcome. This place feels like home, but better.
