We were lost in the mountains. The owner was able to guide us to his cottage. Moosa provided us with dinner and lunch. He is very attentive. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

The host and the location were both incredibly beautifully kind and the hospitality we experienced were beyond our expectations especially because we booked less than 12h ahead of arrival and the host received us in person even though our arrival was at a late time and showed us around! All the utensils we needed there. Parking and very safe house and area. The decor of the property is both very cool and cozy! When it was cold there was more than enough very warm blankets. There is an amazingly mind blowing view of the mountain like a 5 minutes drive away. And a beautiful view 20 minutes an easy hike away!

Moses is an excellent host. He greeted us with coffee and a nice conversation in the patio. He goes above and beyond for his guests. We got a flat tire in our 4x4 driving to jebel shams. Within 30 minutes him and his 2 brothers came to assist. We changed the tire and they took the flat tire to Al Hamra to get it fixed. They would not accept any payment for their help. The location is perfect to explore Jebel Shams. 15 minute drive from W6 and 4 minutes from W4 trailhead. Via ferrata end point is 300m from the house. The view from the house is breathtaking. You see muntains and cen enjoy sumser, sumrise and stars sitting by the fire!

I had an amazing visit to Jebel Shams, and the experience was made even better by our host, Moosa. His hospitality was excellent—warm, welcoming, and genuinely thoughtful. The place itself was very good, cozy, and comfortable, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the mountains. Moosa took us to some beautiful spots around the area and made sure we didn’t miss the best views. He also treated us to fresh dates and a lovely breakfast, which was a great touch and made us feel truly cared for. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Jebel Shams.

In a good position, this little house was clean and the room was sufficiently spacious. Our host has been very kind and supportive. He arranged excellent dinner and breakfast for us.

Really nice place in the mountains. The host was really helpful and kind. I am giving 8 because the kitchen wasn't the cleanest and also because it was really really cold at night.

The location of the house is absolutely amazing, only 10min drive from the start of the W6 balcony walk. And W4 is also close. Our host Moosa was the kindest soul and gave us a warm welcome. He was always able to communicate through whatsapp and took us on a trip to a wadi only locals go to. We had an amazing time with him. He does not speak English very well, but either way we had an amazing time with him. Dinner and breakfast could be arranged by Moosa and was delivered to the house. 5rial for dinner, 3rial for breakfast. The beds were quite comfortable and A/C worked perfectly. House is equipped with functional kitchen, nothing much or special though. Price-quality is exceptional for 7 people, and still manageable for 2 people. You get the whole accomodation for yourself either way. We loved our stay here!!!

Location is great. There are not so many options, this was good. Host arranged dinner from 3rd party, this was well organized. Accomodation is good for 6-7 persons.

The host was very warm and welcoming. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the food they provided.

Great Value and Wonderful Stay at Sunset House! My family and I had a fantastic stay at Sunset House. The property offered a lot of space and privacy, which was perfect for our family, and it felt like we had the entire place to ourselves. The house was clean and ready when we arrived, and the host was incredibly gracious, even offering us a dinner choice of homemade traditional Omani food, which was absolutely delicious. He also offered to arrange a guide, provided breakfast, and was always available for any assistance we needed. The stay was excellent value for money, considering the space, privacy, and personalized attention we received. Despite the heavy rain, we enjoyed every moment of our time here.
