Fantastic place with so much character! Love places like this! We spent a wonderful night there and had galettes in the lovely restaurant just a minute away! Would have loved to stay longer!

“Peaceful, replenishing, and perfectly situated, a place to find a warm welcome.”
The breakfast was brilliant a great selection in a lovely setting. The room was gorgeous with some lovely touches, everything you might need and the bed was extremely comfortable. The owners are absolutely brilliant, kind, courteous and friendly. The view from our window was delightful, straight out to the river. And because of its location it was quiet and no traffic noises. Perfect for a peaceful nights sleep.

Everything was great. Clean, comfortable, fabulous breakfast, super bed, hosts are wonderful and very accommodating. We had a dog with us, no problem whatsoever. Recommend 100%.

“Amazing cozy house in the Green Venice”
Such an amazing experience to stay in La Belle Epoque! The house is very beautifully decorated, the room was great and very comfortable with very nice views. Very nice breakfast, not to talk about the amazing dinner they cooked for us! Paul and François were so warm and helpful, it made us feel like being at our home away from home. We'll come back for sure!! Merci beaucoup!

we have complained. We cancelled our stay because the owner decided our dog was not a bulldog size and that we could not get there by 6pm for check in. He was unhelpful and extremely rude so we stayed in a lovely, customer friendly hotel elsewhere!

“Charming chambre d'hôtes in the Marais poitevin”
This charming house is located on the river banks and the rooms have a lovely view on the water. Our room was very big and tastfully furnished and breakfast in the morning was delightful and large (with scrumbled eggs, cheese, ham, yogurt, croissants and fruit salad).
