The rooms were great as expected but the main part were the hosts who made sure we had everything sorted for our travel not just in dambulla or sigiriya but also for the rest of our days in Sri Lanka.

We had a really nice three nights staying here! Gayani was the loveliest host, making sure we had everything we needed and cooking incredible breakfasts and dinners (definitely take her up on dinner!). We were taken on two excursions to the Cave Temples and to Piduran gala Rock, both were very reasonably priced. Dinner is also very well priced, similar to walkable restaurant options. Most importantly, the pool is amazing, and we spent many hours relaxing and enjoying the weather!

BREAKFAST WAS GREAT ! LOCAL SRI LANKAN FOOD. LUNCH AND DINNER CAN BE ORDERED ON PICK-ME! ALSO , GOOD RESTO ARE AT WALKING DISTANCE!

“Oasis close to Dambulla”

The triple room located on stilts gives a great feel looking into the trees 🌳. Room is large and comfortable. Pool is lovely and good size. Food is tasty and large portions.

Everything was just perfect!! The hosts are the most pleasant and most polite people I’ve ever met. Helped us with everything (transportation, trips, food, tips etc.). The property itself is nice too, definitely worth the money :)

“Beautiful place with relaxing vibe and great hosts.”

We had a great time at Sun and Green Eco Lodge. Gayani and her husband are fantastic hosts. They helped us with directions, welcomed us very warmly and looked after us throughout our stay. Gayani is also a great cook. We stayed in a separate raised cabin with a nice view on the garden and swimming pool which were both well kept. The cabin itself was simple but very clean and comfortable. Overall we would definitely come back and recommend this guesthouse.

Great reception by our friendly host Gayani. Yes, the property is located next to a gas station and a main road. You will hear some traffic noise. Once you find yourself in the garden and at the pool area you are rewarded with stunning wildlife. Observe all kinds of birds, squirrels, butterflies etc. The rooms are simple, functional and fairly priced. If you are in the area for nearby excursions to discover the beauty of the surroundings, this is a great location to stay. The breakfast is prepared by the host and served every morning. We were lucky and could also enjoy a delicious homemade dinner (10/10). Thank you for the great time we could spend at Sun & Green Eco Loge.

“Lovely place for relaxing and getting to Lion Rock.”

The breakfast was very good and plentiful and the dinner we ordered was also enjoyable. The swimming pool was very welcome for a cool dip after the warmth of the day. Our room was very nice with a very comfortable bed. The hosts were very helpful in helping us with a trip to Lion Rock and a bird watching excursion in the local countryside.

The staffs were very friendly. We forgot our medication there, they diligently called us and let us know before it was too late. Staff was polite and respectful while being responsive.

We felt very looked after by our host, they couldn't do enough for us! Gayani cooked us fantastic dinners and breakfasts and Janaka took us on day trips, even waking up at 4 am so we could see the sun rise! The location, garden and pool were all great, very well kept.

The hosts were extremely kind and genuinely helpful. They assisted us with organizing transportation and even reviewed and verified our travel itinerary, which was incredibly valuable. The dinners were excellent — the lady of the house is an outstanding cook, and there is truly no need to eat out. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, making our stay very comfortable and memorable.
