It was a nice and very quiet cottage to stay in for two nights, rather old but yet comfortable and clean. What you need is in the cottage, the furniture is good and the twinbed is very comfortable. Very pleasant were the lightproof curtains and the airco. We enjoyed the large garden to relax in the shade when it was 27 degrees. We did the trip on the Dalslandcanal and can recommend it! The owner, Kirsti-Marie, lives in the house nextdoor, she is very friendly and the people who live closeby as well. We like this Dalsland-region, it is different and more beautiful than the other parts of Sweden that we saw. Kirsti-Marie, thank you for your kind hospitality! Jan and Carla, The Netherlands

Viken cottage is a nice typical cottage in the Dalsland only a few steps away from the Dalsland canal. In the cottage you can get a perfect idea of swedish life in a vacation cottage in the countryside. It‘s a very nice place to stay with the expected comfort. Only 5 minutes by foot away is a bathing place for the Dalsland canal (I loved the possibility for an easygoing fresh bath in the canal). Nearby is a Coop supermarket (2 minutes by car) so you don‘t have to leave the place for anything to get. From the cottage you can start wonderful excursions to the Darlsland and the Vänern lake. Kirsti Marie is a very kind and reliable person so everything worked very good. Anytime again!

“Comfy and cute, I'd come again”
Beautiful location right by the lake. The cottage is adorable and perfect for a couple or family. Fully equipped kitchen with a Coop 15 minutes away. The cottage was super cozy and the sheets were fresh and clean - smelt lovely. Excellent stay.
