It was our first stay at Holiday Inn Express Dalian City center and the experience was unforgettable. The service was absolutely amazing, so attentive. The staff was so helpful. Before our arrival, I contacted the hotel and asked if the hotel could arrange something nice for my daughter’s birthday which was the day of our arrival. The response was prompt and positive. The hotel staff met us at the lobby with the flowers and a beautiful toy. It was a fantastic surprise for my 15 year old daughter. We went to our room and the room was decorated in the birthday theme… amazing. A great work! We started unpacking and someone knocked the door. We were speechless when we opened the door and saw the hotel staff holding a beautiful cake for my daughter. It was one of my daughter’s best birthdays which she will remember for the rest of her life. My daughter has been studying Chinese since she was 6 and she is interested in Chinese culture. After this trip, she is in love with China and we will definitely come back again and stay in this hotel. We would like to say a big Thank you to the Holiday Inn Express Dalian Hotel staff for the wonderful birthday arrangements. These birthday surprises were a great touch, thank you for making our stay so enjoyable and extra special!

Breakfast selection was good. Room and amenities were great. There is a water dispensor in the lobby which is great for people who drink a lot of water.

“Excellent room, location, superb value for money.”
Room comfort and condition was excellent. Staff friendly and helpful, with little touches of "extra mile" thrown in (for example I was there 12 nights and when I asked about laundry facilities I got free tokens as I was there for a longer stay). No extra fluff like a bar, leisure centre, car parking - it was all about the accommodation experience. WiFi was free and worked fine whenever I needed it (although subject to the Great Firewall - so arrive in China prepared for that).
