“Good hosts and a tranquil stay in a beautiful setting”
We really liked this hotel. It was quirky and we weren't sure what to expect from previous reviews (mainly written during Covid) but we had a great time. The rooms were pleasant and the communal lounge/dining area was cosy and comfy. The owners were really friendly and went out of their way to let us hire bikes on the Sunday evening despite us being late back. They made sure I had a bike that worked (I am small!) and recommended routes. The food was good quality and the place is incredibly tranquil and laid back in a beautiful setting. We enjoyed the mini golf on site and the long walks through the forest in the evening. The Ryggasstugan nearby is great for food and drink especially outside Friday and Saturday when the hotel doesn't serve meals. We'd stay again!

“A super nice stay for a cozy weekend with cross-country skiing.”
Excellent food, nice atmosphere, calm and quiet, nice staff and a "can do" mentality. And, we could bring our dog without problems ! Excellent cross-country facilities nearby.
