The charming family owned Dala-Floda Värdshus is located amid beautiful gardens close to vast forests and the Lake Flosjön. Visit wonderful gardens, antique shops and places of cultural interest in the historic province of Dalecarlia. The artists' homes of Carl Larsson and Anders Zorn are also within easy reach The calm retreat at Dala-Floda Värdshus offers a relaxed atmosphere.All en suite rooms have their own individual style with themes from different cultures and moods from history. The rooms have no TV or telephones and the entire hotel is non-smoking. The award winning restaurant at Dala-Floda is well known for its special menus, precious wines and high quality local produce. The restaurant belongs to the Slow Food movement, founded in 1989. Both the hotel and restaurant have received the Nordic Swan environmental label.

An incredibly charming and stunningly beautiful bed and breakfast right next to a lake that’s perfect g for swimming. The breakfast was excellent, and the staff were so friendly. Highly recommended.
