Really nice seaview and swimming pool

Highly recommended for those seeking relaxation. The peace and quiet here are amazing. The proximity to the airport is a big plus. The best part is the private beach – it's shielded from the annoying wind, making it perfect for sunbathing. A great place to truly rest.

“Seaside tranquility”

A beachfront hotel on the edge of town. Total tranquility and the perfect place to truly unwind. The dishes prepared in a traditional tajin are absolutely wonderful.

“Everything was perfect.............”

I arrived in Dakhla at 01.30am, having had a dreadful journey from the UK via Casablanca. On the last part of my journey, they had lost my luggage so went to the hotel. I was warmly greeted and shown to my room. In the morning I informed the manager, Hubert of the loss of my luggage. He went out of his way to help me, as the airport were not very helpful. I eventually got my suitcase two days later. Once I settled, I had the best time. The staff were amazing, the food a delight, the pool/beach and surrounding areas are just great. I walked across the peninsula to the Atlantic Ocean, wow it was amazing!!!! Downtown Dakhla has some nice traditioanl restaurants. The place is starting to blossom. I will be returning and would recommend The Calipau to one and all.........

Location and infra

Secluded beachfront location, yet within 30 mins walking distance to town with supermarket restaurants and cafes. In house restaurant is actually quite good serving wine by the glass. Swimming pool too but too cold to swim, will be good to come in summer. Worth to get a Seaview room

“Stellar customer service…”

The hospitality at this place is just out of this world. I forgot my adapter and needed to work, the adapters at the hotel did not work for me so owner went to buy a connecting cable. This level of customer service is rare and special to experience. Also, the place is very well maintained and the rest of the staff team have such warmth. Looking forward to coming back already….

I had an excellent stay at Calipeau Sahara Hotel in Dakhla. Its location is truly strategic, with a stunning private beach that is exceptionally clean. The hotel also offers several swimming pools, all very well maintained. The rooms are spacious, spotless, and perfectly cared for. I especially appreciated the style of the hotel, designed like a riad with a beautiful patio that blends modernity and tradition. Breakfast was varied, generous, and of high quality. The restaurant staff were attentive, responsive, and always ready to listen to guests. At the reception, the team was exceptionally kind—smiling, helpful, and very attentive to every detail. A place I would highly recommend for anyone seeking comfort, authenticity, and excellent service.
