Overview
Shams Hotel offers a superb beach location in Dahab’s central Mashraba District. It includes Shams restaurant which overlooks the Red Sea. Free Wi-Fi is available in the coffee shop. Air-conditioned rooms and bungalows are simply decorated with private bathroom. Guests can enjoy Red Sea or garden views from their own balcony or terrace. Some have a satellite TV and minibar. Several restaurants and bars are within a 5-minute walk. Breakfast is taken in the restaurant or brought to your room. Shams has its own dive centre for snorkelling and diving. The tour desk can organise car rental, bicycles or excursions to St. Catherine's Monastery and Mt. Sinai. The Blue Hole dive location is a 15-minute drive. Sharm el Sheikh International Airport is 90 km away by car.

We really enjoyed staying at Shams as the team from hotel and dive center was super nice. They really made my vacation worth wile as everything was so uncomplecated. Our room was lovely with a great view.

We loved staying at Shams. The team - hotel and dive center - we both very professional and very welcoming and helpful. We felt cared for and relaxed from the very first minute. We booked the seeview with balcony room, which is great, if you like to sit outside and watch live run by. The bathroom is small and basic, but super clean. Restaurant has beautiful view as well, for me only coffee taste could be improved. We would always come again to Shams.

I would rate this place 5 stars because the staff were incredibly amazing, supportive, and kind, especially Ashraf, who ensured everything went smoothly from the start, and Maria, who was also exceptionally nice. The breakfast was also perfect, which made the whole experience even better.

I would have given 5 stars, but 1 star goes to the manager for never picking up my calls when I wanted to change the reservation. This is not for the girl at the reception who was really nice, it is for the manager himself.

Breakfast and capuccino were lovely. Staff are friendly and helpful. Location is amazing. Room is gorgeous with the sea view. I had a cat sneak up and wake me which was also quite cool. Everyone was super friendly.

“Pleasant”
It’s a simple straight forward type of hotel. Comes with a dive shop, it’s on the main strip and the restaurant where you have breakfast and meals is right by the water. As a guest, you get to also chill there. There were so many cats and a few dogs around that were friendly and cute as well. It’s not so much about the property but more about the staff. Everyone at Shams is friendly, it’s like they welcome you to their home. We got help when we needed, we book all our dives with Shams and I even did my advance course with them. It’s a laid back, chill vibe, and everyone is so helpful and they go above and beyond to accommodate their guest.

“Quiet, safe and very welcoming.”
We had the most amazing stay at this hotel in Dahab! As a group of girls traveling together, we felt incredibly safe and welcomed from the moment we arrived. The staff were beyond kind and attentive, and every single detail of our stay was just perfect. We can't recommend this place highly enough if you're looking for a wonderful, friendly, and safe getaway in Dahab.
