The place was very filthy and poorly maintained. All of it was just too dirty. This goes for our room, as well for common, external areas. The overall structure looked poorly maintained, as if the hotel has been closed for a long time or has been abandoned. In our room, mattresses and pillows were all stained, the shower had broken tiles, both sinks were dirty, one was broken, the sink in the toilet.. not sure what happened there. To us it felt like a scam, especially when we compare it with the photos displayed on Booking.com, which were clearly taken months or maybe years ago. Reception staff was basically absent, if not for a very young guy who didn't speak English at all. It was impossible to communicate with him and ask for proper help. No other staff was available in the structure. We slept there only one night, then we left to another place.

The stay was very disappointing. The room was extremely dirty and clearly had not been cleaned before our arrival. The entire place looked messy and poorly maintained. The swimming pool also seemed neglected and not properly taken care of. There was no soap or even toilet paper provided in the bathroom. Overall, the hotel looked as if it had been closed for a long time and not prepared for guests. Unfortunately, it did not feel like a functioning hotel and we would not recommend staying here.

The property is stunning - the pool is such a nice place to relax by and the rooms are very spacious and clean! We loved our stay. The host, Mango, was also so hospitable and helped us book taxis, organise a trip to the blue hole etc.

It’s the second time we’ve stayed in Dahab with Thomas & his wonderful team at Casa d’Or. Everything about this hotel, and the service provided, is perfect. At first glance the location is a little unusual, but it’s only a short walk to the pedestrian area along the Dahab waterfront for restaurants, etc, and away for the noise and intensity of of the centre of Dahab. It’s calm location, with beautiful views of the mosque and mountains, with easy access to everything you need is ideal. We were mostly in Dahab for the kite surfing, and Casa d’Or can organize a driver for all transfer to the lagoon (or elsewhere) and back, and put it on your bill (at local rates) so you not need the hassle of negotiating costs with every local driver. As I said, Casa d'Or is a great little hotel with exceptional service.

The staff is hospitable, the environment is quiet, the rooms are spacious and not far from the city, making it a rare and quiet place to stay. The owner is very enthusiastic, any difficulties

“Best stay that you can find in Dahab”

We truly loved our stay at Casa d’Or. It is a new construction near city center, a real gem of Dahab. The hotel manager, Ahmed, is a lovely person - he welcomed us warmly and upgraded us to the best room in the hotel. The room was sparkling clean and very spacious. It had a great balcony with Mountain View. The bed is very comfortable and the shower is huge. Ahmed and the staff are super friendly and professional. They would bring us delicious breakfast delivered in the room every day. The room was perfectly made and cleaned daily. For Anything we needed, Ahmed and his team were always happy to help. The best hosts ever! They would also take care of all the plants and flowers around the palazzo as well as of all the animals. Truly genuine and lovely people. We will always remember Casa d’or as one of the best stay in our lives (and we do travel a lot!). We will be surely back! Thanks Ahmed and the team for making us feel like at home and even better!

super cute smaller place, perfect location being nearby everything we wanted in Dahab. staff was amazing, Ahmed was super helpful and very nice and on top of that after departure he reached out as I had forgotten my purse and was super helpful in order for me to get back. highly recommend

We stayed for 4 nights and had an excellent experience. The staff is amayzing: super friendly and helpful. The facility is great and very clean. Very nice pool. The location is very good. Bottom line: very good value for money. We'll be back

It combines the atmosphere of Sinai but without giving up on luxury. Amazing place and amazing staff. The room and the facilities are awesome.

Everything was and is Amazing, from the room service employees ( the gentle Moftah), the manager ( Ahmed Haiti)all the way to the owner(Thomas the diver)nothing but chill vibes and respect. Great location, a 2 minute walk away from The Mamsha, and yet it's very quiet and serene. Highly recommend asking Mr Haiti for his unique tour around Dahab. My wife and I loved it for our honeymoon and will definitely come back again to it

Great location, very comfortable rooms with easy access to the beach and shops. Caters great for a family of 5. Most amazing staff Mohammed and Mofey . So helpful and kind. We will definitely be back.
