1. We thought we could enjoy the whole flat, but the house owners live inside the house. You can only use a small room and a shared bathroom. The owner sleeps on the sofa in the living room. It's absolutely not safe and convenient for female travellers. There are no 2 beds in the room. Only 1 single size bed and a thin mattress on the floor. 2. The only way to reach the house owner is the messager on booking.com, but he didn't read the messages often. 3. When we checked in, the owner kept us waiting in the rain for about 10 minutes. I already informed him the appropriate arrival time in advance, but he didn't reply to any of my messages. I had no choice but made an international phone call to reach the owner. 4. The owner changed the password of the door without informing us, and locked us outside the door again in the morning. How ridiculous it is! It's a very disappointing and frustrating experience and I'd never recommend it to any female travellers.

It is a room in a apartment far away from the centre. The apartment is used by a family which lives in there. You have to wait outside until 3 PM untill it is possible to get inside ,there is no place to leave the suitcase until 3 pm. There are no sheets. And the owner doesn't have any to give. The blankets are smelly. There are no fruit as promised. The bathroom is dirty full with hair. If you don't have to don't go there.

The host was very nice, the room was actually quite spacious, like the appartement. Easy to access by bus.I didn't expect the city to be that big and that nice. I should have booked more days. Thanks for the stay.

Comfortable homestay in an apartment on the outskirts of Daegu. Host speaks English which is a plus in Korea. He also made good recommendations for dinner options nearby.

He was a very mind host who opened his whole apartment for use. The accommodation was close to a bus stop and about a 15 minute walking the from the Line 3 Suseongmot Monorail station.

“Avoid avoid avoid”

Couldn't wait to leave. Booked 3 nights only stayed one, lucky my plans changed if not I would be stuck there. Before the arrival the owner text me 7 times to ask for arrival time as it was my first time travelling in Korea I had no idea especially when I came from rural temple. That when it went worse.. Day 1 said to owner I will mt stay as I had double booked with a temple stay lucky for me. Day 2 arrived to town arranged to meet up with the owner to check in he gave the address of a local cafe which had no idea of his place (private apartment). He was 1 hour late and I found out he was sleeping the bed that I rented for the night and only cleaned when I came and said the room was not ready. The smeel of the room reminded me of a high school male dorm. (see pics of the bed he left for me) came back after 4 hours and he didn't even change the sheets. Then him and strange dad watched TV outside and made going to the shower and bathroom really awkward. Then he stopped me after bathroom and kept asking me when I was leaving early tomorrow... 4 times like a cop asking you if you going to confess. I said I rented for 3 night and he noted that he might have rerented my room out that I paid for.. OMG! Day 3 woke and the creepy dad was there all day. Left and forgot about it but decided to warn everyone about my experience. Might be one off but it did happen for me. hope for you it's different or can find some where else.... Losing the 3 nights was made up with the incredible temple stays (look them up)

The room was big, quite and the bed comfortable. Very close to transport and Suseong Lake where ist’s nice to stroll around in the evening.

Our stay at Chan Guest house was lovely, we were welcomed with such friendliness and ease. The space is lovely and has a great view. It was great to experience a more traditional stay than an Airbnb or hotel. We will be back!

“A much recommended place to stay with an amazing host”

The property is located in a very good location with a good public transport connectivity. The view from the room is really nice and you can find convenience store, restaurants and cafe close by as well. Chan and his father were really kind and hospitable. Overall my stay was very comfortable and felt like being at home.
