“Lovely”

The owners!!! They are so sweet and genuine. I took the local bus (ceres) from Cebu to Maya. I already told them beforehand that I thought I would arrive late. But little did I know… that my busride was going to take 7 hours. I panicked a bit because I saw that the check in ended at 10pm, and I knew I wasn’t going to make it. But the owners waited up for me and were so welcoming and happy when I arrived at 11pm. The morning after I went out of my room a bit stressed about the ferry to Malapascua. But the owners told me to relax and sit down and then they brought me warm buns and fresh mango. 10/10 - would recommend!

Perfect location just next to the new port and the bus station, ideal if you plan to stay overnight before going to Malapascua or returning to Cebu. The staff was very friendly and there is a restaurant + ATM next door.

Great location, right beside the port for an easy move in the morning. I arrived quite late and they were able to check me in no problem. In the morning had breakfast with the owners with some local bread, bananas and tea that the owners provided. Owners are wonderful, very nice to chat to and care about the stay of the people that stay with them.

The staff were incredibly lovely and friendly. The room is spacious and really clean, with good air conditioning. 5 minute walk to Maya port. We got a complimentary snack too before our trip to Malapascua

Great value and location, we got to Cebu too late for the boat to Malapascua so stayed here so we could get the early boat to Malapascua, it was a 5 minute walk. It's basic but serves a purpose and the staff are very helpful and friendly.

The resort is only a five minute walk to Maya New Port and there is a very nice restaurant next door which is very nice. The staff couldn't be more accommodating and are lovely people. The hospitality is very good and makes you feel very welcome

You cannot beat the location if you want to go to Malapascua - the owners and staff are absolutely amazing -it is extremely clean - comfortable beds with AC

I have honestly never found more helpful and accommodating hosts at a booking before. Extremely nice and got us some free coffee, tea and biscuits before our early departure the next day. And in addition SUPER close by the harbour!

- really nice hotel to spend the night for the ferry to go to Malapascua the next morning. It was clean, beds were comfortable, air conditioning worked fine and the owners informed me before my arrival that the restaurant was already closed (8pm) and had to bring something to eat!

This place and the people running it are truly special. Nancy and her husband were incredibly kind and helpful to me. I got stuck because of a typhoon, and even though they were fully booked, they made every possible effort to help me and find a solution. Their kindness and care meant so much to me. I couldn’t recommend this place more.
