Great value for money, breakfast was good for what it was, great bread + eggs. Rooftop area has a great view for late night chilling. Rooms were nice.

“Perfect Hostel Family Atmosphere”

What separates great hostels from good ones is that they don’t just provide amenities, but bring a whole vibe. Dalat Backpackers Alley is located at the end of a very peaceful street with great views from the terrace. Everywhere in the town was easily walkable from here. Grabs are also easy to find. I stayed in the 6-bed women’s dorm, with a bathroom attached. You could also shower in the common bathroom that came with city views. Room was basic but comfy, and I had a great sleep every night. We also had a balcony. The family dinner at the hostel created a great community vibe and got everyone talking. The food was made fresh in-house, had a vast variety of Vietnamese dishes, and was always presented with so much generosity. (Just make sure to let them know if you want to join.) They offer some breakfast options to order from in the mornings. And a range of beverages with happy hours. You can find free refillable water on the terrace, an essential for hostels. There were lockers in the rooms. Cleaning was done every day. They offer adventure trips every day, and also help in booking buses. The family who run the place are very warm, knowledgeable, and damn, they work hard! I'll say that again.. they were very accommodating and kind, and the two little girls were such cute hosts. This hostel was a great blend of social and peaceful for me. I liked it so much there I extended my stay. One of the best value-for-money stays I’ve ever had.

“Great hostel run by family”

One of my favorite spots I have stayed so far. All in all just a perfect spot to stay - much better and a real family run spot then what I experienced at the party hostel Dalat Family Hostel, which I can not recommend.

Great staff and view (especially from the bathroom!). Super convenient location and the family dinners are a great way to meet people and eat some home made local food.

The location was perfect and great value for money. The host was welcoming and organised our motorbike tour and sleeper bus which were both great. The family dinner was also a nice touch.

I loved my stay here! The staff is super kind and helpful and I really liked the fact that there's a common area with sofas where to chill, both at reception and on the rooftop, which makes it easier to relax and meet people. The view from the bathroom was amazing, it was a pleasure to brush my teeth in the morning :)) I really liked the breakfast and they advertised a tour of the surroundings that I really enjoyed.

Amazing crew - they’ll help you with anything, have fun and joke around with you, make you feel super welcome. There are family dinners, which are also super fun. You can get to know the other backpackers and bond, share experiences etc. i stayed longer than initially planned because I felt good here :) 100% recommend

It’s the best place to stay in Da Lat !!!! Do not hesitate the owner are sweet as honey ! My stay was more than faboulous !

“Comfortable & Reasonably Priced”

Very comfortable and affordable hostel at a reasonably good location - The lake is just an easy 10 minute walk away. The dorm is spacious and bright with ample airflow. My bed was super comfortable and curtains provide great privacy. The social area is large and comfortable. They have a beer promotion between 6pm and 8pm where 2 beers cost just 30,000. The roof top terrace is a good spot to hang out, especially at sunset.

The staff were all so friendly and helpful, loved the family dinner and was a great location.

I asked for a bottom bed and they gave me an upper bed, the woman told me the bottom bed was booked but on that night there were two bottom bed available, nobody was taking them. unbelievable！
