“Highly disrespectful Host”
I had an incredibly frustrating experience dealing with this individual. I booked the apartment on December 1st 2025 at about 12am (midnight), and from the very beginning, things went wrong. The host initially asked for a 150 Malaysian Ringgit deposit. When I expressed that I didn't have much cash on me, he became rude and insistent. We finally settled on 100 Ringgit, but after I paid, he demanded my passport details. Once I sent a copy of my passport, he insisted again that I pay the full 150 Ringgit. After much back and forth, I was pressured into paying the full amount, even though the situation was already uncomfortable. The check-in process was smooth. I arrived at around 2 am (2hours after i booked). The next day, I informed the host that I would love to extend my stay and that I would pay for the additional day by 2 pm. However, I ended up paying around 4 pm. The host was fine and continued my stay I checked out on January 2nd, and everything seemed fine. The host texted to confirm that everything in the apartment was okay and promised I would receive my deposit back within 7 business days. That was the last time I heard anything positive from him. To my surprise, on January 14th, the host turned around and demanded more money from me because I checked in late on January 1st and was 2 hours late in paying for the extension. His text messages were filled with insults and disrespectful language every time I tried to communicate. It’s clear that this host is unprofessional and dishonest. I’ve never encountered such a rude, aggressive, and manipulative individual in the hospitality industry. I have contacted book.com and haven’t gotten any feedback, hence I decided to write a review and included the last text from the host after I checked out of his apartment . . I would strongly advise anyone (especially foreigners)considering this homestay to avoid it at all costs.

The property owner is not sincere. Doesn't tell me the additional charges prior to check in Whereby i did mention how many people to occupy the apartment. Upon entering the apartment unit just the property owner the additional charges per person as additional charges to be paid. Why didn't the property owner tell me the earlier? Threaten me to pay additional charges of RM 88 per person or leave the apartment by checking out. I choose to check out and when I ask for security deposit, its totally burned and not refunded as promised..

The PROPERTY OWNER IS SO RUDE WHEN I ASKED ABOUT THE REFUND OF THE SECURITY DEPOSIT I PAID. Not recommended at all. So unprofessional. The issues I encountered with the homestay owner were unacceptable. You also cannot see the sofa at the property as per the pictures provided.

i have a bad review for the staf because my deposit didn’t get full refund because he told me that i got charge for rm88 because late check in only 52 minute i told him to tolerate because i work from so that why i check in a few minute late. it very expensive charge i got at this booking even i check out early before the time that has given but they still can’t tolerate to give a reasonable price for the late charge . i’m am very ii disappointed and dissatisfied because they didn’t told me the price before i enter to check in . if i know early i’m sure i would like to cancel this booking because the charge was very expensive and the staf not consider the price …
