Cannot say enough nice things about this place. It is very special and gives you the sense that it is a labour of love on the part of the owners. Every detail was beautiful. Wanted to take a photo of my breakfast with the river and the weeping willows through the window cos it looked so lovely.

Newly renovated, big rooms, comfortable bed. Great! Also lovely restaurant and the valley was beautiful. An extra bonus was the owners dog (Potschka?) who served as our personal guide dog when we went for a walk in the morning :D

Beautiful cozy room with super big shower and tv! The host and chef are really nice and he is an excellent cook. We had a delicious meal and everything was just perfect!

We had 2 nights at La Source Bleu whilst visiting my in-laws for Christmas. They could not have been more helpful and accommodating. The hotel is perfect and the area is beautiful and tranquil. I cannot recommend it highly enough. We will be back.

“Truly a memorable stay”

We had such a wonderful stay at this B&B! The room was very spacious, with a fireplace and a huge TV screen that made it perfect for watching a movie or Netflix in the evening. The surrounding area was absolutely breathtaking – it felt like something out of a fairytale. One of the highlights was our walk through the forest to the “blue water source,” which was so peaceful and almost mystical. Breakfast was served in their authentic 100-year-old restaurant, which added even more charm to the experience. The whole area feels quite undiscovered, full of beautiful nature, and history. Truly a memorable stay!

The bedroom was spacious with a lovely view and a beautiful bathroom. It was lovely and warm upon arrival. The bar area was cosy, with a log burner and pretty lighting creating a fabulous ambience. The restaurant was exceptional in both food, par excellence, and decor. You choose your own wine for dinner from the cellar. The staff were attentive, helpful and cheerful. Exceptional value for money. We will be back.

Fabulous place to stay, large room overlooking river and hills. It’s an old building done up really well and in keeping with the stone/wood and rustic feel - perfect. Fabulous people working there, very kind and helpful - even though we’re not great with the language. Fantastic breakfasts and evening meals - all presented well and very tasty, thank you all! And a big paws up to the furry dog who loved a fuss.

Room was lovely with a great view. Breakfast was generous and delicious. Dinner in the restaurant was also excellent. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Location was peaceful and tranquil. No problems parking.

An unexpected double booking led to my being moved to the neighboring hotel – and what could have been an inconvenience turned into a highlight of my stay. The team handled everything within minutes, with remarkable professionalism, genuine warmth, and a truly delightful dinner that made the evening feel special. The following day, I had the pleasure of meeting the hotel manager over an exquisite lunch. Not only was he incredibly gracious – he also happens to be a truly exceptional chef. The surrounding landscape is nothing short of breathtaking, and the cuisine rivals that of any Michelin-starred restaurant. A place full of charm, care, and culinary excellence – I will most certainly be back.

STÉPHANE generously offered for us to dine with him and his family as everything was shut for a holiday. What a night, he’s an excellent Michelin chef and also a great entertainer singing both French and English songs. The apartment is modern and large and the hotel is in a beautiful spot with a short walk to the source of the river. A memorable stay that we will never forget. Chur

“Perfect for a short escape in nature”

This is a quiet and slightly remote place, perfect if you need a break from a busy life. The area is absolutely beautiful, with great hiking spots nearby, so it’s ideal for nature lovers. Even though it’s a bit out of town, there’s a restaurant on-site that serves breakfast for guests, and lunch/dinner for anyone. The staff are super friendly and really make you feel at home. There's a city with a supermarket at 15 minutes driving (Baume-les-dames). The room was spacious, comfy, and had everything I needed for a short stay. I was traveling with my dog, and that was no problem at all—he was even welcome in the restaurant. It’s just a 5-minute walk to the spring (La Source Bleue), where you get an amazing view of the clear blue water. There’s also a hiking trail that starts right in front of the place—just a heads-up: part of it is blocked by fallen trees, but you can easily go around. In general; It’s definitely worth the money you pay for your stay.

Wow, the views from our room were stunning. The staff were all super friendly, especially helpful was our English speaking waiter during dinner. Dinner is excellent as is breakfast.
