Everyone was super nice and helpful. The bathroom was cleaned everyday, so everything stayed clean, which I really liked. The breakfast was amazing, it changed a little everyday and they accommodate to your needs (gluten free, vegan..), you simply have to tell them. I’ll definitely come back if I’ll ever come to Cumuru again 😉

An incredible beautiful place, with a spacious tree-filled garden and verandas situated 5+ miutes up a hill (with a nice viewpoint half-way up/down) above main road and beachfront. The buildings and rooms look new/refurbished, the whole design and layout of the place is just great and imho very tasteful. Everything is super clean and comfortable, they have a well-equipped kitchen, and as others have pointed out, a fresh and diverse breakfast that is just excellent (certainly the best I've ever had in a hostel setting). The owners and volunteers there are the loveliest people, I really enjoyed staying with them and felt at home there. So, I really cannot recommend this place enough!
