There was a fridge-freezer in a little kitchen near our room that we could use. There was a sitting area and sink, cutlery and microwave in the kitchen/lounge area. We were there in a heat wave and the shutter outside the balcony doors came down to the ground with little holes through it for air entry. The external shutter was brilliant as we could leave the windows to the balcony totally open to cool us down overnight. Wonderful fresh french bread for breakfast, croissants and home made yoghurt etc.

We enjoyed the breakfast, the location was close to the river, quite town, private parking, tried the owners champagne. First time in a Chambre Dhote and it was a good experience. Owner speaks also English.

Absolutely perfect. The perfect authentic French place. When coming to champagne again this is definitely where we will be staying. Like home from Home.

Quiet location in a traditional French village. The room had everything needed for an overnight stop. There was a shared lounge area for guests to use, great if you were travelling as a family and wanted to sit together in the evening. Breakfast was simple but good, with home made yoghurt and jams.

Set in a small village and very peaceful. Easy access to walks either beside the River Marne or in the vineyards, with an excellent restaurant just the other side of the river. Loved it all so much we had to come back for another visit!

“Simple room for a base to”

welcomed with glass of champagne from the owners own champagne Lavel Louis. really good (we bought a box …)! Parking on the premises with a large gate. The owner tried to book a restaurant in walking distance … all unfortunately closed … we took a walk to the local ‘pop up’ restaurant in the local camp site … pretty good!

“Poor B&B ..or rather B only”

Good water pressure in the shower, comfortable enough beds but small pilly. Secure parking . The pets - 3 cats and one dog, all very friendly.
