Breakfast included fresh croissant, pain au chocolat, baguette, butter, jam, yoghurt and was reasonably prized. Outdoor breakfast table is a good-weather option!

perfect location, lovely river walk nearby . plenty of on street parking in quiet wide road , surrounded by small independent champagne houses within walking distance so much better value and more personal than the big famous named houses

“3 nights in Cumiere”

The accommodation was located at Cumiere not far from Epernay the champagne capital, which was where we wanted to have a good look around, it was a short drive so easy access. The village was a lovely old place with plenty of history but not alot else , a few tasting houses at nearby Hauteville the Dom Perignon birthplace all very beautiful with alot of things going on in the vineyards in readiness for the season but no grapes at this stage. The bulles and breakfast unit was the one bedroom kitchen/dining and separate bathroom with a great shower the bed was comfortable and plenty of room for the two of us. The access was by key into a very pleasant courtyard that led to the unit. It was quiet and peaceful and was a good last stop after 3 months of traveling, we found our host to be very pleasant and she responded to any requests from us.

Unfortunately, we cannot confirm the other enthusiastic reviews. The pictures are a bit confusing, the accommodation has only one bathroom, not two bathrooms (the other bathroom belongs to another accommodation). The floor in the upper hallway and in the second room squeaks and creaks so loudly that it is better not to go to the toilet at night, otherwise the other guests will be awakened. The doors in the bathroom and second bedroom also do not close properly (large gap or too narrow). Breakfast was rather disappointing, there were baguettes and croissants, but no jam, only a strange fruit spread (similar to applesauce). With regard to the weird statement of the hostess here: We could not pay the bill immediately because the batteries of the hostess' cardreader were empty. Then I tried the link which the hostess sent me but it did not work in the first place and I informed the hostess in the evening. The payment went through the next day after a 2nd try but the hostess accused me prior to any further correspondence. These accusations here a totally inappropriate and unfounded especially sinde the hostess confirmed the payment. Poor behaviour...

Alexandra was a very welcoming hostess who provided us with a great meal on our arrival. She was also able to provide information on the area. The location was ideal, being just around the corner from our favourite Champagne house.

very friendely welcome. Nicely decorated room, with a small living room and kitchen. Modern bathroom. The studio has no airco, but the house was cool.

We were in communication with Alexandra and collected the keys from her at the property. She also gave us a great tour and explanation of how everything worked, and where everything was. This enabled us to get our bearings really quickly which meant we could relax and enjoy the holiday.
