Absolutely everything! Still dreaming about this place. It’s extremely beautiful, well maintained and the staff and owner are everything you could ask for! Oh and it had the best breakfast in Brazil

Very welcoming, peaceful place with exceptional food.

The property is like an oasis and you can just stay to enjoy the pool, garden. Room is very spacious and unique design. There is a big terrace with hammock. Food is the best we had as owner is from France so all French cuisine. Breakfast is amazing and all are prepared as ordered. Just coming here to have dinner worth it.

My wife and I had a wonderful stay here for 4 days. Olivier, Jô, Elsine and Guozone were all so welcoming, warm and friendly. The hotel felt like a boutique hotel with some really small touches which went a long way such as writing names outside of the rooms, and remembering what our preferences are for breakfast. On to the breakfast, it was easily the best we had in Brazil, the team go out of their way to make the food as you like it, and had home made condiments like jams, etc. The hotel pool was lovely, along with the room, the views from the roof were amazing. The wifi was super strong aswell which was appreciated. The location was perfect for getting to the beach, in just a short walk, along with hiking in the dunes which offers amazing views. In short I would highly recommend staying at R.I.O

Chef Olivier and his staff make an amazing breakfast. There is the European flavor option of Croque-monsieur, or crepes, but they also make Tapioca. Combined with fresh fruit, fruit juice and a proper cup of coffee.

“Best place to stay in Cumbuco”

I have been traveling Ceará for eight years. Each time I also stay for some days in Cumbuco. This time I stayed in the R.I.O and it is hands down the best place I found in Combuco so far. The rooms are beautifully decorated with a good eye for detail. Even the view from the bathroom is nice. The team does a superb job assisting with anything desirable. Breakfast is very likely the best I had anywhere in Brazil. What’s most important for me though is, that it’s quiet and you can get a very good nights sleep. This is often not the case in Combuco or Ceara, as the buggy and motorcycle engines tend to wake you up at night or in the morning.

The location for us was exactly what we wanted: not in the city but close enough to the airport for a midday flight. Everything about R.I.O. exceeded our expectations. The elegant room was beautifyully furnished with high quality furnishings. The pool and gardens were absolutely amazing. The staff were attentive and extroardinarly kind and helpful. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and the shower was fantastic. Perhaps the very best thing about R.I.O was the owner/chef Olivier who cooked the most amazing meals for us in the rooftop restaurant. He is a true professional who has created a little piece of Paradise overlooking the dunes in Combuco where the breakfast croissants and baquette are better than we have ever had in France. We will spend the rest of our travelling days looking for reasons to re-visit Combuco so that we can stay much longer at R.I.O. next time.

Just book it, you will love everything about it. The pool, the friendly staff, rooms and food. I truly loved all about it. Olivier is a 5 star cook and super friendly, he will make sure you will be taken good care of.

Quiet, amazing view of both the sand dunes and ocean at the top restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Great breakfast, probably best breakfast I have had.
