Overview
La Poetisa is an automated hotel with an online check-in system: comfortable, easy and fast. Located 3 minutes from the airport, 12 minutes from the center of Coruña and on the English Way (Camino Inglés). We have 19 rooms that were renovated in May 2023 with a fresh and cozy design, where each room is unique and different. All rooms are exterior and bright and fully equipped: full private bathroom, hairdryer, Smart TV 50¨, a safe, fiber optic wi-fi, heating and a desk. On request, we have a luggage-room (luggage storage). We have included a dining area with vending machines with a wide range of food, snacks and drinks, where you can have breakfast, a snack dinner, a coffee or a soft drink. Check-in time to the rooms from 15.00h onwards.

“Good but not near the airport”
It was very clean. The location was good for the city not for the airport. For 5he city a bus was near, 8 minutes walking , and we could go to the center of the town.

“Stay away”
I had a reservation from May16th - May 17th. We checked in but did not end up staying. The building and rooms smell very strongly of cleaning solution which gave us both headaches. The room was also not as advertised as in the photos, the room is small, the bed is also small and lumpy, so if you're a couple, you will find it uncomfortable. The walls are paper thin, you will hear every noise in the hallways or adjacent rooms. The address of the property on booking.com is wrong, it is in a totally different place. The actual location is less than desirable. The check in process was long winded, you talk to a screen and a person checks you in remotely. Very strange experience. Booking.com rates this as a 3 star property, when in reality it is only a 2 star. We have sent an official complaint with booking.com and request a full refund. This is unacceptable.

“Great stop over if you need somewhere close to the airport”
Great for a night after a late flight - short taxi journey. Would have walked if I didn’t have a bike box with me. Virtual 24/7 check in worked great in my opinion - staff’s English was great and very friendly

It was very clean and everything was there - hairdryer, vending machine with all sorts of food, hot water, coffee machine, disposable cutlery and plates, microwave. I appreciate how fast the check-in online was.

Super location for the A Coruna Airport. Everything was spotlessly clean. Although there are no staff on site, we found them to be super responsive to messages. Easy to find and access. Would definitely stay again.

“Conveniet airport hotel about 35 minute walk or 10 minutes in Uber”
Facilities are simple but very good. Room very comfortable. Staff after initial problem with entry code were excellent
