We, family of five, had a most relaxing stay in Matan'ai villa. Enjoyed the luxury of modern life while at the same time the kampong atmosphere is just around the corner. Took a swim at new years eve under magical moonlight, the sounds of nature, smell of the tropics...memories that will last. The staff, which we didn't realize was part of the package, were a pleasant surprise and are an example of true Balinese kindness and hospitality. They really make a difference and make sure you will not come short of anything dispite the somewhat remote (compared to Amed beachfront) location. They also arranged for rental scooters so we could explore more of the surroundings and a 10 minute ride will bring you to Amed beach.
