“Delightful old town stay”

Lovely spacious quiet rooms in excellent location to wander the old town. Delightful historic building and atmosphere. Friendly and helpful staff. Elevator to reach room. Shower was excellent and thought had gone into layout of room, down to subtle night lights in bathroom and usb ports as well as power points beside the bed. Great breakfast options.

Charming but comfortable hotel in the heart of the old city of Cuenca. Stay in Cuenca two nights and explore the Riverside as Well. Walk along the river to the canoo club for a Nice swim in the river

“Unique experience to stay at an operating seminary. Great location and excellent breakfast.”

The hotel (Seminary) is located very close to the Plaza Mayor in the old town, a great base to explore the old town. You need to be aware that there is no direct car access to the hotel, you need to walk up about 15 steps then another 100 meters uphill to get to the front door. Staying at an operating seminary is unique experience. The seminary current building dates back to 1746, however the rooms are modern (note no TVs). Breakfast was excellent. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Couldn't beat the location as it was central in the old town. The parking was close by so very convenient, and they gave you a discount if you were staying at the Hospederia. The internal building was beautifully kept and very clean, had a wonderful sense of peace, which we found extremely relaxing. We were amazed at how spacious our room and bathroom was, as well as a very good size inbuilt wardrobe and drawers. We have stayed at expensive hotels that came nowhere near the space we had here! This place would definitely be hard to beat on every level and we would most definitely stay there again!

Wonderful historic building. Kind helpful and friendly staff. Perfect lication. We were treated to a tour of parts if tge building not open to rge public and the guide was so knowledgeable about the history of the building snd if Cuenca. It was brilliant.
