“A great place to stay”

The host was very helpful before and during our stay with info regarding parking and restaurants. It was a quirky entrance but the apartments have been well renovated and had everything you needed. The welcome basket for the first mornings breakfast was a thoughtful touch. Good location close to secure parking and also the town square just a few minutes up the hill. Good size apartment and modern bathroom/kitchenette. A lovely view over the valley.

Everything about apt. Alfonso was perfect for me. I don’t remember ever giving full marks before but this place had no faults in my eyes. It is in a fantastic location in the old town, just a minute from the main plaza and great restaurants. The apartment is small but perfectly formed and finished to a high standard. It has so much old town charm and character! The shower is powerful, the view is amazing, the bed is comfy, and the AC is powerful. The kitchen is well equipped and the washing machine easy to use. I arrived by bus so I don’t know about parking. And, yes, there are three doors to get in, and the one off the street is low, but this just adds to its charm. Cuenca is gorgeous and this little studio was the perfect base.

An apartment with a fully functional kitchen and a washing machine. The house is historical and old, but the owner made sure that all the small details are prepared for a traveler, from extra coffee pads, jam and olive oil pads to various dishware and cutlery to dishwashing and washing materials. The Alfonso room has a nice overhead city and mountain view.

We loved the apartment and it was nice to have a small welcome pack with coffees and cakes/biscuits. Could not fault the location or the facilities. Fabulous view from the window especially at night.

Right in the old town and 2 mins walk to plaza. Just note that 2nd bedroom is on the loft and you need to climb the stairs.

This apartment is so well situated with a beautiful view of the town. The apartment is cozy and offers all the amenities needed. There were some breakfast things provided which was a really nice touch, along with recommendations for restaurants and bars.

We loved the view and the ceiling. The apartment was well equipped enabling us to cook and wash clothes. It easily walking distance to all we wanted to visit

Cleanliness

We absolutely loved this little flat, were expecting an old interior but were surprised it was well refurbished. Very charming and cozy with a great view and an electric stove. Very convenient location in the center of the old town and next to the car park. The host was also eager to help with detailed infos.

it is a quaint and historic building, nicely renovated and comfortable to stay in. So many original features like low doorways, wooden ceilings and exposed beams within the walls. it is in a great position, close to the bus stop, short walk to restaurants and the Cathedral. Cuenca is fascinating, gorgeous walks along the Huecar river, so much history but also a living city. The art galleries are amazing, set in lovely buildings.
