“Lovely staff, beautiful gardens, very convenient stay.”

We spent 3 days at Bananaquit. Beautiful communal gardens to relax in, my children loved them - much nicer than the photos show! Communal BBQ, tables/chairs/shaded areas to rest. The staff were really friendly - very kind and helpful. Beds were really comfortable, we all slept great. Furniture is quite dated but not a problem for us - adds to the charm. Location was also really good - walked from the airport, easy walk to Store Bay beach and high street with shops/food options but still quiet and tucked away from the main hustle and bustle. Shop selling food/drink/necessities just a couple minutes away.

Very kind staff that is ready to help you during the operating hours when you need. It is very close to the airport, just 5 minutes walking and also close to a small supermarket and other food options. The beach is about 7 minutes away by foot. The garden is great to sit and chill. The apartment is simple and comfortable, but meets the expectations and has a very good price. I would definitely stay here again if I would come back to Tobago.

The rooms looks very old,broken down and disgusting .the owner Mrs RACHEAL ...she cannot speak to her guest...no customer service...I had a payment issue...she never once stopped and listened...she was accusing me of not having money on my credit card..shouting and yelling to bring her money ...cause she have catch a ferry....im so disappointing 😞 however despite that ordeal...I booked to split level family loft....the shower upstairs was leaking heavily downstairs on the bed....no ac downstairs works...it was a horrible stay for my family....the location was perfect....please spend your money elsewhere.....it do not worth it!!!!!!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Bananaquit in Tobago, and it was a great experience! The apartment was spacious, clean and had its kitchen which was very convenient. Food shops were also located very close which was also helpful. The possibility to buy water on the spot was also great, as it saved my life one day when I got food poisoning. It also certainly a treat for those who had sunburns or hangover! The place is pretty close to one of the beaches and not far from one of the best ones in Tobago (Pidgeon Point) as it is about 3 Km. It is also 5 minutes walk from the airport which was huge during the day of check-out. Safety was also never an issue, as Police presinct is just around the corner, and even if I have not always felt comfortable in Trinidad, Tobago was 180* different, and I felt safer than often in Norway where I live. What made this stay truly special was the attention to detail and the genuine friendliness of receptionist, Xica. She was always ready to help with anything, from arranging small things to offering great recommendations for exploring the island. I would certainly recommend the place for anyone travelling there, and if I'll be ever coming back, I'll be happy to be back there again!

The rooms were quiet, beds and pillows very comfortable and surroundings quite clean. Clear instructions were left by the receptionist as out flight arrived after 9pm. Close proximity to the beaches, eating places and mini mart.
