The setting is absolutely idyllic with a private garden right on the water. The house is full of antiquities and the owner is charming and generous. We loved everything about the place.

Great hosts (dog included !) and super breakfast. Shame the stormy weather didn't enable us to have breakfast outside next to the mill pond, but the inside of the mill is very interesting too. Bedroom was nice and cool, which was much appreciated given the very hot conditions.

“Perfect country stay”

A beautiful old country home with the owner very welcoming. It was comfortable with plenty of room to spread out. The breakfast was spectacular with a range of breads, cakes, cereals and cheese giving us a true French experience. Presentation made us feel very welcomed.

Bernard was an excellent host, very friendly and welcoming. The room was charming as was the breakfast room and patio. Breakfast was outstanding, great coffee, fresh breads, homemade jams, lovely antique dishes. Bernard also helped us with our travel plans for the next day which was greatly appreciated.

What a lovely place. We were in the ground floor rooms. There was a large bedroom which had a stable door leading outside. Then a separate lounge/tv room with comfortable although utilitarian chairs. The shower room was large and had soft towels. Although only a shower curtain we didn't have any problems with the shower leaking etc. Breakfast was upstairs with views outside of the pond. Although boxed cereals were available, we chose to enjoy all the fresh produce on offer. 3 different sorts of bread with jam & marmalade. Croissants & coffee. Also a berry tart & mini chocolate cake. This was an excellent location for us on our travels & I wouldn't hesitate to book it again next year. A beautiful place all round.

Everything was perfect. Such a hidden gem. I would highly recommend this place. We are definitely going back. Fell in love with the place ❤️

Nice and quiet area, very small village. Nice house with a big garden. The apartment under the roof is nice and has a quite new bathroom. When it is hot outside the apartment heats up, but the host brought a transportable air condition. At night it cooled down nicely with open windows.

Beautiful setting. Owner and his dog were very friendly. Wonderful spread of breakfast with freshly baked breads and other things. Very comfortable stay and the decor was pleasant and interesting. Wished we had more time there.
