“Fabulous diving and staff work really hard to create a genuine family atmosphere”

Had such a great stay at LPN in Cozumel - the receptionist (although really she seemed to run the joint 😂) Dominique was SO amazing and helped me out with recommendations and even gave me a lift to a sunset bar on her scooter when she couldn't find a taxi available for me! Yes the rooms were large and clean, the water was hot, the beds were comfy but more importantly, LPN does such a good job in creating a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where guests just start chatting in the common area or have beers up on the roof if they want to or just hang out by themselves in a hammock reading. To give just one example of how it started to feel like a family after only one night - after we came back from the dive, the support staff were all having a staff lunch in the common area and I ended up being invited to join them for lunch and to get to know the support staff and their family which was so lovely! One of my most communal stays in Mexico! Now onto the dive organised by LPN - honestly one of my top dives ever. They were thoughtful and careful (assigned me a 1:1 instructor since it was my first dive in a while and he was so fun) and my instructor was incredible - he seemed to have eyes in the back of his head and pointed out so much marine life that noone else in the bigger group got to see!

EmManuelle is absolutely fantastic and organises everything you need without drama. Voila! And it's car, buggy, great restaurant—Super efficient and a great sense of humour. It's a dive hotel but far from a 'dive'. The place is super clean and tidy, functional with good rooms. Everyone is chilled and going about their activities quietly. If you are not diving you will have the plcae to your self!!

“Great for divers”

This is a great hotel for divers, since they arrange all your diving and gear for you. I also liked the communal space and kitchen, and my favourite part was Sparrow, the friendly cat, who immediately came and curled up on my bed with me. There's everything you need for a convenient diving holiday.

La Perle Noire has an amazing atmosphere — one of those places where you instantly feel at home. The staff were incredibly friendly, genuinely helpful, and always around if you needed anything. The rooms were spacious, spotless, and the bed was huge and super comfortable. The shared kitchen had everything you could possibly need, and we really appreciated the free water and coffee available all day. The whole property is kept beautifully clean — the cleaner was there throughout the day — and it really shows. The location is brilliant too: very close to everything. There’s a cheap laundry place around the corner, scooters available to rent on site, and they organise lots of excursions, which makes exploring the island so easy. We hired a scooter and got around the whole island without any fuss. There’s a lovely little pool downstairs with a great mix of people of all ages and a gorgeous rooftop terrace with a barbecue that guests can use. The vibe is just perfect — relaxed, friendly, and welcoming. One of our highlights was Sparrow, the adorable resident cat, who likes to wander in for cuddles whenever he feels like it! The property also provides a really helpful information booklet with tips on where to eat, local taxi contacts, and everything you need to get around Cozumel. Overall, this place is clean, cosy, incredibly well-run, and full of great people. We’re so glad we chose to stay here — highly recommend!

A fantastic stay at La Perle Noire. Stephanie and Charlotte are excellent, so welcoming, fun, and professional. Diving with Charlotte was epic. She has so much enthusiasm, it contagious, provides a detailed thorough dive brief, and always points out lots of marine life during the dive. The equipment is in good condition overall, a well organised dive trip. The hotel is brilliant, super clean, and tidy, and there are lots of comfy and different chill out spaces. Would 100% recommend La Perle Noire.

“Nice place to stay if you have transport”

Spacious, comfy and clean room. I like the hammock in the room, pretty special. They have a lovely kitty that craves attention and is quite vocal. Big common area with kitchen and living room. A pool to relax and hang your scuba diving gear which I didn't use during my short stay.

I really enjoyed my stay at Le Perle Noire, especially the diving community atmosphere, although I didn't dive with them because I had my dives scheduled before I discovered this place. It’s more than just a place to stay—it’s a spot where you can meet like-minded people, join activities, and have great conversations. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with reliable WiFi and air conditioning, which is a must in Cozumel’s humid weather. I also appreciated the balance between social spaces and privacy, so you can engage when you want but also have your own space. Overall, a well-maintained, well-organized place that’s perfect for divers and travelers looking for a welcoming and comfortable stay. Would definitely recommend and stay here in the future.

The room was spacious and the facilities were very nice. Tom and the team were all super helpful and professional, it was a great experience staying at LPN and will definitely go back. The diving arranged through them turned out to be unforgettable as well.

Dom was super helpful throughout our stay, we booked a snorkeling trip through the hotel which I would 100% recommend. Location is good, slightly out of downtown but easy to walk; some great food spots nearby. The rooftop terrace was a lovely place to sit and have a drink in the evening. They also had a bbq to use along with a kitchen and mini bar full of drinks for a good price.

Wonderful stay! The hotel is perfectly located close to both the ferry and the city center. The area feels safe, and the staff are incredibly helpful in organizing activities and experiences. They are easy to reach, and the atmosphere in the common areas is both cozy and respectful. Overall, a fantastic experience that I highly recommend!

“Little oasis”

The room was great and super spacious I was on the top floor and had the added bonus of the space up there. The kitchen is a bonus and theres lot's of hand picked goods in their shop. The guys that put it together clearly care about what they're building

Of all the places we stayed at during our month long trip to yucatan peninsula, this place was by far the best. Dominic, the guy taking care of the place, is really cool, empsthetic and very helpful. knowledgable of places to go etc. The room was clean, so were the bathroom and the kitchen. Plenty of space to chill out at - the pool, the kitchen/common room, the terrace. Its also possible to rent a scooter there, for a reasonable price.
