It was good for the money, center is in 15-20 min walk,or tuktuk is 300mxn, so calvulate with that, otherwise we werre walking day and night, it is safe, but carefull of the road is bumpy a bit of the sidewalk.

“We really loved our stay at Villas Colibrí”

We appreciated the location because it was a bit further away from the touristic centre of Cozumel. We loved that we had a few really good tacos restaurants at walking distance from the hotel, that seemed to be popular with the locals as well, and a café just across the street where we had breakfast a couple of times. We were not out late at night, not later than 9pm, but as 2 women, we always felt safe in the area and in general in Cozumel as a whole. Our suite was very clean and well taken care of. The staff was so lovely, friendly, responsive and helpful. We appreciated that the A/C worked really well, keeping the place nice and cool. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were kept very clean. The kitchen was equipped with a blender which we made great use of to make smoothies. We also used the filter coffee machine in the suite but then realized there was coffee available also at the front desk. We also appreciated that we got beach towels in addition to the regular towels. The premises are a nice oasis away from the road, with lots of trees, plants and birds. The pool was a really nice addition to cool off from time to time. Very quiet and respectful overall. We could hear the neighbours upstairs at times, but it didn't bother us as they were not loud late at night. Overall, we really loved our stay at Villas Colibrí and would recommend this place to anyone who is interested in exploring Cozumel beyond the all inclusive deals/cruise pit stops or touristic centre.

Great value for money, the pool was clean and never too busy to use. We liked the location slightly out of town as it had access to some great local restaurants.

The staff was very kind, they gave us great recommendations and helped us with every query we had. The location is perfect and it has a very nice garden with a lot of plants and colours. The pool is also a great spot to relax a few hours.

We loved the location. That was why we booked in the first place. Also, the ambiance is extremely sweet and cosy and has that feeling of home. It was easy to park and check in and the lady who welcomed us, Jessica, helped us a lot in finding goot spots to snorkel and sunbathe.

The room we booked and paid for was occupied and unavailable. The hotel put us in another room. The hotel doesn't admit the truth to Booking.com... I'm currently applying for compensation. Please be careful.

It's cozy and everyone is nice and friendly, room was upgraded so it was a nice surprise.

The entrance of the hotel looks very nice, full of plants and colourful decorations. It has a nice swimming pool. The environment is peaceful. The room is a good size with all the facilities you need. I highly recommend it. Price is good as well.

Beautiful grounds. The room was huge and spotlessly clean. Shower was the only powerful shower we have had in Mexico! My son loved the fact they provided bowls so he could have cereal. The staff are lovely and happy to help. They really made the place feel like a home away from home. Lovely swimming pool was a bonus. Two great restaurants nearby. We loved Mr Taco's and Birchen steak.

“Wonderful Stay – We Kept Extending!”

We had such a great experience at Hotel Villas Colibri Suites & Bungalows that we ended up extending our stay more than once! The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the location is perfect for exploring Cozumel. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, always ready to help with anything we needed. It felt like home away from home. Highly recommended – we’d definitely come back!

The pool was closed for 2 out of the 3 days we were there. When we arrived they said it would be open the next day and then it wasn’t. Besides this it’s overall ok.

The staff were great, especially the young woman working the front desk every day. She was so positive and helpful. The pool was lovely as were the gardens.
