“Pleasant stay in a quiet neighborhood close to the beach with welcoming hosts and a great breakfast.”

Hosts were very pleasant and accomodating to my dietary request (A2 milk). The breakfast was outstanding. Unlike most Australian B&B's continental fare, in addition to the standard fare there were pancakes, eggs, bacon, orange juice, and good coffee . There was a direct walking path to the beach that was well marked and not too far.

Richard and Evie are excellent hosts, with the personal touch of Richard remembering each guest's name and greeting them by name each day. The room was more than adequate and very comfortable, and parking was very adequate even for our large old car. Breakfast was delicious, both the cooked and continental options. All food was so fresh and tasty, with a great selection of fruit and smallgoods as well.

Very relaxing weekend getaway in a cute old cottage house, carefully chosen furniture, well equipped and super clean. Breakfast was amazing, served by the owners caring for each guest personally.

The property was surrounded by beautiful trees, creating a calm and tranquil atmosphere. The beach is only 100 metres away and places to eat only a 5 minute drive.

The whole feeling and decor of the accommodation was so good . The rooms had a wonderful homely old style charm and decor but beautifully done . The breakfast was amazing and the hosts absolutely delightfull. Such a shame they have sold up and are moving on.

Richard was a great host. The room was spacious, lovely and very clean. Loved the breakfast. Location perfect for restaurants and of course the penguins.

A lovely quiet location just a few steps away from the beach. A very generous five-star buffet breakfast. Loved the 11 am check-out and the property's well-maintained historical garden.

The breakfast was absolutely lovely! The facilities were exactly as described, and it was close to the beach and a short drive up to Coles, and the main shopping precinct strip of Cowes. The grounds are immaculate with parking facilities right outside your door. The golden tree out the front is divine and such a treasure to provide much needed shade from the hot summer sun. Richard and Evie were excellent hosts, informing us of activities to do on the island and sights to visit during our stay. They went to a lot of trouble to ensure our stay was comfortable, and we had all the amenities we needed. The room was spacious and comfy with TV and wifi, the bed was super relaxing and the shower had good water pressure, with a spacious bathroom. The bonus room with storage facilities, fridge and tea/coffee making facilities really complimented our stay.

The owners are good people, guided us some nice restaurants to eat in, and recommended must do Penguin show, national park(which is again pretty close to property) and beach is at a walking distance
