“Perfect place to stay when travelling through France.”
Tranquil village location deep inside the Champagne region. The property is beautifully restored and has all the facilities required. Excellent table d’hôte and breakfast hosted by Gauthier and we will definitely stay there again. Several sauna and massage facilities are available at very reasonable prices which are worth considering.

“Nice stop in champagne with charming hosts.”
Quaint property with lovely gardens We arrived around 9pm and they still served us dinner which was very kind as it’s a small family run business and their flexibility was appreciated.

We were able to have a lovely meal even though we arrived late. The host prepared some glutenfree and vegan dishes! The area was beautiful too!

“Good food, comfortable rooms , pet friendly”
Beautiful village location in the heart of champagne. Vines across the road, Champagne house caves near by including Drappier which we recommend. Great food (and wine) at a very reasonable price.. We recommend stay for dinner, served at a large single table with your hosts and the other guests. The largest comfiest beds of our whole trip

“Wonderful stay in the middle of French nowhere”
The stay was very pleasant. Had no expectations, but the dinner was delicious, and Gauthier - the host - made real magic with food, drinks, and tried his best with keeping up the conversation by the shared dinner table. Bed was firm and comfortable, and the room was very quiet, it was first night in over a week in France when I slept all night without waking up. Breakfast was also nice and fresh, planty to start the day. The surroundings are magical too so need to come back some time soon.

“Par for a 3* hotel however poor customer service experience has let it down”
Leaving Le Goluret this morning has left a sour taste. The room is adequate for a 3* hotel and hard work has been put into home cooked food. Our main gripe was an incredibly unfriendly reception and poor customer service (a real surprise to hear he worked on a cruise ship later). On arrival, the host continually remonstrated with us that we hadn’t booked a 4 person room for our 2 year old and newborn baby - all while we needed to sit down and comfort an already crying baby after a long drive. On check out we were charged extra for the newborn - of which absolutely nothing extra was provided. Enjoy your extra €15 - and to fellow travellers - I am sure there is similar, more child friendly accommodation nearby that I would recommend considering.

Le Goluret has a unique ambiance. And a sense of how a chambre d’hote should operate. We certainly felt part of the family and enriched by socialising with other guests from Germany and Belgium.

Nice clean room, very peaceful setting and great selection for breakfast. We were so pleased that we paid extra for the table d'hote as the food, the other guests and the setting were all so lovely. Would absolutely recommend this B&B
