“Lovely stay in the Loire”
The location is beautiful. You need a car if you plan to get around the Loire. The Manor is lovely and the bathrooms have been updated very well. The rooms are comfortable and stylish. Good breakfast. The place is clean. Good value for the price paid, I would recommend staying here. For context, we are an international couple based in Paris who came to the Loire for a weekend stay.

“A great stay in a historic house in a beautiful location, great hosts, would definitely recommend.”
A stunning historic house set in a beautiful location. Some parts are as old as the 14th century and it was restored and sympathetically decorated to a very high standard. The rooms were spacious and comfortable with excellent en-suite bathroom facilities. Both hosts were very welcoming and attentive and very happy to talk about the local area and suggest places to visit and eat. An excellent breakfast was provided each morning with something for everybody at our chosen time. Lots of places to visit locally. A really enjoyable stay that my family will never forget. Many thanks.

“A peaceful, traditional French country house, perfect for exploring the local area.”
We stayed at Manoir de la Fontaine Du Chene for 2 nights between campsites. It was a delight to stay in this authentic French house. It was a classic 18th century Manor House renovated by the owner, Eric. We had the two large family rooms on the first floor. Breakfast was excellent, classic French.
