Very cute house turned to be inn, appliances are new and modern, and furnitures are classics but taken care very well, everything was clean, feels like you’re home Antoine was very nice and welcoming, even offered some drinks, gave recommendation on good restaurant as well He prepared breakfast by himself and it’s awesome so you shouldn’t miss it

Beautiful house with a nice garden. The room was very clean and large with a very pleasant view of the garden. Breakfast was very good.

Wonderful friendly host who could not do enough for you. Spacious room with modern furnishings and amazing bathroom with a great power shower. The house was decorated with style and it felt like staying in a friends' country house. Nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious with local produce and home grown eggs. Good location.

Antoine creates an amazing breakfast. One just wanted to try everything. There was so much lovely fresh stuff to choose from - and then he would come through with crepes and eggs and more! Also, it was lovely to stay somewhere that had a bit of history. This was our last opportunity to eat a proper baguette before travelling back to the UK where there are no decent baguettes - and Antoine did not disappoint.

Beautiful old house - like walking back in time. Lovely tall ceilings spacious room, great beds, and bathroom. Free range hens strutting about in the garden and a beautiful black cat who was quite at home amongst the guests. The breakfast was great. Ada was helpful and fun.

Our host was very friendly and helpful. He carried our heavy suitcases (3 months of travelling) up to the second floor because of lack of elevator. He also offered us laundry opportunity which we took happily. Our host is a trained chef which showed in the beautiful breakfast buffet which we really enjoyed. The setting is in a renovated villa with large garden. It is very quiet at night, providing a good sleep.

Antoine has a heart of gold and he was amazing with our kids. The breakfast is exceptional and the interior is lovely!

Lovely, charming, historic building, tastefully appointed rooms, extremely comfortable bed. Within walking distance to the centre of beautiful Coutances (host recommended a great local restaurant). Board games in the lounge. Our host kindly brought us a big dish of cherries while we played! Free tea and coffee. Breakfast was good (I should have asked for an egg from the cute hens roaming around!) A super overnight stay, would happily have stayed longer.

“The old French atmosphere was magic!”

Breakfast was superb, much of it produced by the proprietor who is a chef and pastry cook. He has a variety of hens, beautiful to look at, who produce eggs for breakfast. The hotel is near to the centre of Coutances which has a magnificent cathedral which we could see from our bedroom window. The road where the house is isn’t particularly interesting but the building itself is, and is a short car ride from the centre of Coutances.

Magnificent French Villa set in fabulously mature grounds. Central location in Coutances with private off street parking. Amazingly friendly host, full of chat and local information. Breakfast was traditionally French and thoroughly enjoyable, Antoine prepared most of the breakfast using his own and local produce, homemade granola, jams, baked breads, pancakes etc delicious 🤩 if you are looking for a quintessentially French experience, this is the place.
