“Disappointing experience but convenient for the ferry.”
We’ve stayed at this hotel many times before but not for a few years as it’s an easy drive up to Cherbourg for the morning ferry.

“A very relaxing place to stay with good local attractions nearby.”
We have stayed at the Cositel many times over many years. It's in a quiet location and a calm stay. The front desk staff have been there for as long as we have stayed and are charming, friendly and efficient. I believe they have been there for longer than we have stayed so some decades. The rooms have gradually been up graded and beds comfortable. The buffet breakfast is good even without a cooked selection. They is an option to have some light supper in the hotel.

“Good grounds, well kept. Rooms need major renewal.”
Room was cold, radiator and towel rail were set to 21 degrees C but did not come on, result was cold in bed! Bed linen smelt unpleasantly stale, although laundered. Room wallpsper was torn and stained, skirting boards beyond end of life.

“Quiet and Comfortable”
This quiet hotel is on the outskirts of Coutances surrounded by trees. It's very good value for money. The rooms are of good size and the beds very comfortable. Many of the rooms have recently been upgraded as have some of the larger salons. Breakfast is very good and the staff very friendly. A very good stop over for exploring the many local sites.

“It’s okay, but would not stay here again.”
We had to move rooms when the rain started pouring through the ceiling. Thankfully we were moved to a much better, cleaner room.

Spacious family room. 1 double bed 2 double sofa beds. Very nice friendly (and English speaking!) staff. Pretty good continental breakfast.
