“Perfect stopover”

Very welcoming hosts.The room had tea and coffee making facilities and there was access to a microwave, fridge and freezer. Breakfast was v good and could be had in room.

“An absolute delight”

A really elegant, spacious and warm room had a very comfortable bed and an arm chair for reading and a good light. A very good modern shower room of a generous size. It was all immaculately presented. Plenty of tea and coffee were provided and facilities for some self catering downstairs - a fridge and microwave. Eric and Delphine were very welcoming and caring hosts. I loved the stone spiral staircase and the central location with views of the cathedral. In bitterly cold weather I felt very cosy.

The location must be the best in town! Literally right next to the cathedral and shops. There was also free parking in the street. Everything was spotlessly clean and rooms were just perfect. Lovely host as well!

The helpfulness of Eric & Delphine. The rooms were great. Super comfortable and great location. Coutances was more interesting than we expected and so we being in the centre was really good.

Great hosts, who were excellent communicators and took special effort to acquaint me with the room and the town of Coutances. Super lodging, modern, clean, beautifully appointed, spacious and airy, with a great bathroom and in the best possible location. Superb in every respect.

I absolutely loved this place and we’ve stayed in quite a few recently. The hosts are very welcoming, the provisions have been thoroughly and generously thought out. The room is so comfortable with a view to the majestic cathedral. Loved the winding stone staircase up four floors. Opens out onto the high street which in the run up to Christmas was a vibrant uplifting place to be.Enjoyed the roasted chestnuts.

The room was fab. It was large, the bed was cozy, there was a place to sit and eat in the room. The bathroom and shower were roomy. The room was spotless. And best of all, it was quiet. The location was excellent, as I cam to Coutances to photograph the cathedral and this room is practically across the street from the cathedral. I was a little hesitant to rent a room in someone's house but this experience has motivated me to do this again.
