Cosy, little historical house. Clean and well equipped, had all that’s needed for a short stay. Perfect location to visit Normandy.

The location is excellent. Just a short walk to the sea, supermarket or Boulangerie for bread each morning. It was our second visit and we used it as a base to visit all five of the D-Day beaches and surrounding area of Normandy. Value for money was Excellent and the communication from the seller was great. Highly recommended.

Super little property for those visiting Normandy. Even better if like us you were visiting the Normandy beaches and museums. Two Boulangerie's within a few minutes walk, perfect for breakfast. 10 minute walk to the Seafront with plenty of restaurants , bars and shops. Supermarket only a short drive or walk away. Perfect for small groups.

The location was fantastic and parking was nearby. The neighbours were very friendly. Great local amenities, including restaurants and beaches. Close to tourist attractions too. The bed was super comfy.

“We only stayed for one hour”

Unfortunately having booked 3 nights in this cottage we only stayed one hour. Private parking was advertised but after contacting the owner we found it was not. The cottage is in a one way system and we had to back into a drive to unload. Because this blocked the drive of other residents we had to move twice to let them out and go right round the one way system to get back into the drive to continue unloading. When we got inside we found the cottage to be dark and dingy in the main living area with very basic comfort. . The cottage would sleep 6 but the only soft seating was a well worn armless sofa for two. The bedding and towels which I ordered were not in the cottage. After contacting the owner, who tried to firstly blame us, on realising their mistake they offered to bring the bedding to us. We had left by then. If you are a family looking for basic amenities the cottage may suit you as it has all the necessary domestic appliances and fixtures. Bear in mind there is nowhere to sit outside. Huge disappointment in every way. We booked into a nearby Loggis which was wonderful. We accepted the loss of the money we had paid rather than stay in the cottage but as I say it may suit some people but it did not suit us. I find it hard to believe it has such good reviews.
