Fantastic place to stay. The owner, Chantal is very kind and speaks English very well. The pool is lovely, the house is very modern and comfortable and the facilities on high level and very clean.

This house was exceptional. It had everything we needed, it was like home from home. It was our first time in this area and we would love to return to this property, so quiet and so comfortable, really good quality fit out and no corners cut. Pristine👏👏👏 Air con in all area’s of the house was fantastic, our host was fabulous and caring.

“Lovely, comfortable and welcoming.”
L’hermine de Sologne is an absolutely lovely place situated out in the countryside, a welcome relief from the busy chateaux. The property is big, spotlessly clean, looks just like the pictures online, is very comfortable and well stocked. A 15min drive brings you to a small town with lots of good restaurants. Chantal kindly made a dinner reservation for us when we struggling on a Sunday.

the property was beautifully furnished and all the facilities were excellent. The owner lived on site and was very welcoming and helpful (she spoke very good english which was a bonus).

“Stylish, characterful, converted barn deep in the French countryside”
Super stylish, converted barn with gated parking in a tranquil, rural location The rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. Light, airy living room with comfy sofas plus a nice dining area, modern kitchen with brand new appliances, plus utility room with washing machine & a tumble drier and separate cloakroom. We also loved the little sun room at the back. The bedroom was luxurious with a very comfortable bed and wonderful bathroom. We didn’t need the other two bedrooms but one of them was useful to tuck away our suitcases. We spent both evenings with a good bottle of French wine, watching the sun set from our private terrace at the rear. There is a 20m swimming pool which we did intend to use, but we were so busy running around the surrounding countryside and then visiting the stunning chateau at Chambord, so we only managed a quick hour on the poolside sunbeds. The pool is definitely a bonus though! We intend to return!!
