Really nice place to stay, very friendly staff. Delicious breakfast and diner. The view from hotel is awesome. Parking garage was full but we got free parking in city central garage what is 5 min walk.

The views are breathtaking and the staff is exceptional. When they learned we were celebrating my fiancée’s birthday, they surprised us with an adorable little cake and candle — and even upgraded our room. A truly thoughtful touch.

This is a really unique hotel with a genuinely authentic feel. The interior is beautiful and everything is kept immaculately clean. The staff are exceptionally friendly and welcoming, which makes a big difference from the moment you arrive. We had two evening meals in the restaurant and the standard of food is excellent, you can tell real care goes into the preparation. Breakfast each morning was just as impressive, with plenty of choice and consistently high quality. The wellness centre is also well worth it. We used it three times during our stay and really enjoyed it each time. Overall, we had a fantastic experience here and would happily recommend it to anyone planning to spend time in Courmayeur.

“Restful, cosy stay for a couple”

The hotel is beautifully decorated in a traditional Italian style, even the staff are wearing traditional dress! The food served in the restaurant was a big surprise, we did not expect such a high standard with many unique and delicious dishes, the chef is to be commended. Our room was cleaned daily to a high standard and we had everything we needed for a 4 night ski break (warmth & a comfortable and cosy bed/room).

“A very bad vacation”

We didn't like everything. We arrived as a family at 14-30. We went to the hotel where, as always, we thought that we would be welcomed as guests, very warmly and kindly. Do you know what they told us? Come back in an hour, there is no room for your luggage and there is no place for you to wait. We said OK and left. This was just the beginning of this terrible vacation at this "historic" hotel. The rooms are old and cold.

The first morning we were asked to book a time for breakfast, this is the only thing we didn’t love. Part of the beauty of vacation is not being on a schedule. No one asked us about the 2nd day though so it didn’t seem to matter. I understand if they couldn’t accommodate everyone at one time but I’d rather eat somewhere else and not be on a schedule if necessary. Otherwise a wonderful hotel and excellent service!
