Overview
Just a 10-minute walk from Courmayeur centre, Gran Baita Hotel & Wellness offers a free shuttle to Dolonne cable car. Outdoor parking is free, and rooms feature free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen satellite TV. Rooms at the Gran Baita Courmayeur come with a minibar and parquet floors. “Cosy and elegant hotel for Italian ski sojourn, loved it!”
We’ve been to this hotel almost 20 years ago and our return did not disappoint. It’s very traditional. The ground floor reception and bar areas are just the cosiest and the wellness area is lovely. The best bit though - the staff. Shout out to Michaela in the restaurant who did a Star job liaising between kitchen and my husband (every night) about what he could and couldn’t eat. They went above and beyond to get it right with his intolerances.. a huge thank you to her and chefs. Food was generally excellent, breakfast had everything. All the waiting staff were friendly and helpful. The bar man was superb!!

A cozy hotel with a stylish interior, conveniently located close to the city center. The shuttle driver was polite and even gave me a ride to the center despite finishing his service. I was given free parking as there was an available spot.

The facility was very clean. The pool and sauna were wonderful. The lounge was artfully decorated with historic pieces. The breakfast was amazing. And the evening bar service was superb.

We had a delightful stay here. It is a beautiful, classy hotel with old-world charm, and a lovely pool / wellness centre / garden area to relax in. The views from our room were to die for. The staff were lovely and certainly made us feel welcome.

The breakfast was the best we had all trip. The spa was also fantastic. A perfect way to rest in the middle of our Tour Du Mont Blanc trip.
