Beautiful property on the grounds of chateau Courcelle sous moyencourt. Close to local villages. Was peaceful and made better with a warm welcome by the host. The donkey and lamas were very entertaining. Would go back in a heartbeat.

The Maison de l’horloge is presented to a very high standard. The kitchen is well equipped and back garden offers privacy and an excellent space for young children to play. For older children & adults, you have access to the whole estate, covering many acres of woodland and grounds.

The location of this beautiful cottage was amazing. It is in the grounds of a chateau. The gardens were fabulous with a cave at the end of the extensive gardens. It was quiet and very comfortable.

“Peaceful”

If you are looking for peace and quiet, then this is for you. Stunning location. You can walk your dogs in the grounds surrounded by trees. Take a good pair of(old) boots for walking in the grounds, it is clay ground, and when it rains its sticks to the soles. The grounds around the castle are kept immaculate. The house has everything you need if you want to selfcater.A car is a must for doing shopping (no shops in the small village) Amiens is worth a visit. Stunning cathedral.

“Large home in a quiet surrounding.”

The home is exactly as you see on the photo. Clean and quiet. All is available in the house together with all kitchen appliances. I loved the surroundings and the lama park. Unfortunately I did not take hiking boots so I had to restrict the walks in the forest. There are 3 walking paths to chose next to the castle. Middle of nowhere which was perfect for me. 8 minute drive to a store and a nice bakery. Less than 2h to get to the centre of Paris. A lot to do and see in the surroundings. Lovely hostess that welcomed us and explained everything.

The accommodation itself was very comfortable and quiet, with plenty of space. The gardens were beautiful, with plenty to walk around and see. The village that it was settled within was very peaceful. The House keeper that treated us on arrival couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly.

Amazing place located in a tiny spot not far from Amiens. The maison is one of the buildings of chateau area, surrounded by beautiful trees and … lamas! They are so cute! Special thanks to Mylene who welcomed us for the late check- in and explained a lot about the chateau and surroundings. The maison is spacious, it has all the necessary amenities inc. fire place and barbecue. Wish to come back again for the atmosphere of peace and calm

The host (Mylene) was very friendly and gave us all the necessary information upon arrival. We had a fantastic time. The house was beautiful, clean and had a positive vibe. We will visit again.

The surprising place on the chateau grounds. The email with directions on the chateausite was very clear and please continue to send it. A nice base to view the area as Amiens, Cite Souterrain de Naours and Castle Rambures

“Great getaway in a separate house next to a chateau”

Nice house, quiet little garden, quiet area, interesting setting next to a castle and lamas. The fire place is a very nice bonus. Modern kitchen and bathroom.

“Lovely stay in a peaceful and pleasant French chateau grounds”

This was a lovely property with a relaxed atmosphere. Unusually the accommodation was actually more spacious than it appears in the photos, and also the fact that it has a good sized, fully enclosed private garden doesn't come across well in the pictures. The old brickwork building has a lovely feel with sunny rooms. The facilities are great and as a family of six we felt we had plenty of room. Being in the chateau grounds and able to explore the woodland and see the llamas was also a bonus and it's a great option for being close to Amiens. The rural location was great for us but worth noting that even the most basic of shopping trip involves a car journey.

Beautiful location, near the castle and a great garden and arboretum. Maximum privacy. Beautifully restored house with all possible equipment. Perfect wifi and Netflix. We were lucky to see the trees changing color like the foliage in Canada.
