We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay! The hosts were incredibly kind and welcoming. The breakfast was wonderful – homemade food prepared with so much love and care. Almost everything was made by the hosts themselves: honey, different jams, cakes, and even blackberries from their own garden. The house and the surroundings are full of beautiful and unique works of art, both inside and outside, which made the atmosphere truly special. It is such a beautiful place, with a lovely area to walk around and enjoy. Everything was perfect – highly recommended!

The home made dinner and breakfast were very very delicious. The host were very friendly and welcoming. The room was very clean and cozy. We also had a little walk in their backyard to view the chickens, geese with our son who also threw some sticks with their cute dogs. The scenery was really beautiful and there are some good options to go for a walk nearby.

We loved the old mill location in its beautiful garden, the very friendly hosts and a fantastic breakfast. The location is perfect for an overnight stay and if you have time, visit to Metz. The lovely split level family room was great for our family of 4 with 2 teens. We were a bit early but the hosts were great and welcoming! The breakfast alone was worth the stopover.

The gardens were nice and the owners were very friendly. The dogs were very good with our two boys. There was a ping pong table to use.

Breakfast was superb! Also the dinner we've booked in advance was fantastic!

The place is quirky and arty. We were the only ones in and enjoyed the free Nespresso (great after a long drive). The dinner was lovely and loved the views over the river and countryside.

Charming place and hosts, perfect for a pit stop with kids whilst driving across France. Great breakfast too.

“Wonderful stay at a beautiful and friendly mill”

We were extremely happy to book he mill (moulin). Both the breakfast & the evening meal was wonderful (it was extra) the room delightful looking over the millrace and the water meadows. We saw cranes, egrets, kites from the window. The owners were friendly. We would definitely try to return if/when we next travel on the A4. The noise of the weir masked the noise from the motorway completely.
