Peaceful riverside location. Really special breakfasts. Loan of our hosts' kayaks ( but check, I'm not sure this is a general offer) a really peaceful few days cycling , kayaking and enjoying this special area

What a wonderful base to discover the Marais Poitevin. The apartment was clean and cosy, the restaurant was excellent and the location, with some lovely walks on its doorstep, fabulous. The animals, rabbits, cats, dogs, geese, ducks, a real bonus - we only left today and my daughter is asking when we can go back.

The ambience was perfect, the welcome was warm and sincere, the property was rustic as expected. The food was amazing, proper French cuisine that was delicious and very well priced. Great wine list too.

“A highlight of our touring holiday in france.”
This is everything you hope for in a French auberge. Accommodation, dinner and breakfast were all excellent. The owners obviously have put heartl and soul into this lovely old building. The decor of the bedroom and dining area was beautiful and tasteful and very comfortable. Worth going off the beaten track and very close to the pretty town of Coulon. Highly recommened.
