We had a larger spacious room with a compact kitchenette. The pool was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed the place.

Marine & Raphael were incredibly welcoming and friendly. They provided an excellent local restaurant recommendation and explained everything we needed to know about our stay. We loved the outdoor jacuzzi and large towels provided. The bedroom was very pretty and looked onto a smart tiled pool terrace. We ate freshly cooked croissants and baguettes served with three sorts of jams. We had an early departure so we were glad to see the delicious fresh fruit salad and yogurt ready at the table at our requested time and the owner was happy to top up coffee tea and hot chocolate. We will definitely be going back.

I would endorse and support all the positive commentary that this property has received. It was exceptional in every way and we are certainly looking forward to returning there next year. On a personal note, I'd also like to say that Marine and Raphael are exceptional hosts. We arrived three hours too early having been forced to abandon our Airbnb stay due to an all night rave in the apartment beneath us which was still going strong at 6am when we finally abandoned that part of our visit to the South of France and they could not have been more welcoming and hospitable despite our early arrival - Merci Bien Marine and Raphael! I would strongly recommend this place and visiting Cotignac.

It’s beautifully situated close to Cotignac. I took several walks from the Bastide along the local dirt roads and the way the light hits the olive groves and vineyards all around me was a marvel. The property itself is lovely, calm and relaxing. Beautiful pool w comfortable lounge chairs. A jacuzzi in a private area of the garden if you need some hot therapy after long walks or biking. My room was large and relaxing w a modern bathroom and separate WC. The owners are friendly, kind, and knowledgeable of the area. I stayed longer than planned bc I loved it so much and lucked out bc season just slowing a bit and it was not the weekend! I did not want to leave!

We absolutely loved everything about La Bastide du Murier. We stayed as a couple with friends and rented all four rooms, creating our own private retreat. The beautiful pool and surrounding area became our peaceful haven while we attended a nearby wedding in the charming town of Cotignac. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, arranging taxis and catering thoughtfully to dietary needs, including gluten and dairy free options. Each morning we were treated to a stunning traditional French breakfast in the conservatory – homemade bread, yoghurt, fresh fruit salad and more delicious food than we could ever finish. It was a real highlight of the stay. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, with thoughtful touches like a good hairdryer and even a clothes steamer available. The beds were very comfortable, and we loved waking up each day and stepping out onto the serene poolside patio.

Our stay was nothing short of perfect. The property was tranquil, beautifully decorated and hosted impeccably. Marine & Raphael were attentive and helpful, whilst also providing privacy throughout our stay. The breakfast offering was really good, with most of it being homemade by Marine herself (and she is a fabulous baker!). We stayed here for a wedding and Marine was helpful in arranging Taxis and assisting us with a car rental mishap.

We really enjoyed staying at La Bastide du Mûrier. We felt extremely welcomed and liked how quiet it was. It’s a very a close drive into town with lots of restaurants.

A charming host, a rule and peaceful location and good facilities considering the price paid. The breakfast was good, home-made yoghurt, fresh fruit salad, croissant, cake and bread as well as cereals, coffee and tea. The property had a communal room where Gas could bring their own food and use the fridge and freezer.

Loved everything about this place, the hosts were amazing, breakfast incredible, facilities 10 out of 10 , pool, jacuzzi. Would definitely come back to Cotignac just to stay in this wonderful place .

“Incredible stay”

This was by far one of the best places we've ever stayed in . The host Marian and her husband were fantastic, the breakfast incredible, fresh homemade brioche , lemon cake , homemade jams, etc . Cannot recommend this place enough. The facilities were fantastic, I was able to steam my dress for a wedding I was attending. There was a little kitchen/ dining area facing the pool that we could relax and have lunch .

Very nice stay in a beautiful setting with a lovely swimming pool. Excellent breakfast with attention to detail. Very nice hosts. Cotignac is approximately 40 minutes walk away and is a lovely village with a lot of restaurants and shops.
